So for Verizon Wireless users, you need the data plan to use this GPS receiver w/your phone? yeah i think that's how it works. however, i've been searching on the net to acquire software, preloaded with maps, east coast specifically, so i can load it onto my 4gb microSD card and have my windows mobile 6.1 smartphone use it with the gps accompanied via BT. however, i haven't been able to find such software or map, so i have to keep looking. does anyone have an idea of where about i might be able to find such program/map that i can load onto my microSD card and use it without data plan? (i currently have data plan blocked because i do not want to pay $35 additional a month for the next 2 years) thank you. |
