Also in for one, at $154 shipped to AZ but my expected delivery date is 9/14/09? WTF? It says it ships within 24 hours.

Ordered mine on Sunday with the expected delivery date of 9/11/09. Checked my order status today, it's listed as being shipped. But there's no tracking number yet.

Thanks for the good news!
I jumped on the deal even though my Radeon 4850 is still good. Although new cards are on the horizon, I figure the Evga card will be a lot easier to resell on Amazon, as opposed to my Asus Radeon 4850, which is a discontinued first revision card.

I received next date shipping for my troubles and she told me that she would call on thursday to double check that my item has been shipped. so there u have it, its NOT september.

Yeah...when I bought one on 6-25 they gave me a shipping date of 7-15...but I got it 7-1.

GTX 260/216 = 216 stream processors vs 9600GT = 64 stream processors is a good enough reason . A ton more horsepower (specially for eye candy turned on with high AA/AF used @ higher resolutions ).
Just ordered one. Of course the delivery date is 9/15...Will be calling and bitching about it shortly. Hopefully it will fit inside my HTPC case. Anybody with experience of this card usage in HTPC?

I'm not very familiar with HTPC cases, but I do know that I have a rather large Antec case, and even with as much space as I have, I'm going to have to remove a drive cage just to fit this thing in. My old 9600GT is about 9" long, which gave it about one inch of clearance from the back of one of my hard drives. This one is 10.5", so that would put it right in the drive cage.
Off topic question, but since I'm going to have to put both of my SATA hard drives in the same three slot drive cage, is it a good idea to separate them with a USB/card reader bay? I wonder if having two hard drives right up against each other is going to cause heat damage to them. I can't really point any case fans directly at the drive cages in this case, although there is one intake fan pointing horizontally at the bottom of the front bezel, several inches below the drives.

I ordered one Tuesday morning and it's scheduled to arrive today. Hopefully I see some decent improvements over my 8800 GTS 512 which I will be looking to sell now. Also I am not sure if the free Cryostasis offer will work with this as I think it has to be purchased from one of the 4 online vendors listed on the EVGA page but I hope I am proved wrong on this as I would love a free game along with this deal.
You must purchase a product on or after 5/1/09 Follow link above to "My Products" and copy code Follow link on "My Products" page to nZone.com Add Cryostasis to your cart and check out Paste code into promo field Complete transaction and download game
Nothing about it being restricted to those four retailers, they are just the featured ones. Only catch is you only get one download attempt
Awesome, jumped on it. Also got it for $156.05 after CA Tax and before rebate.Thanx OP.
Should be a huge upgrade to my 7600, especially superclocked. Super = Over? I imagine I'll just google something on "how to overlock the gtx 260", but just wanna make sure superclock and overclock means the same thing.

hi guys... Having a hard time deciding between this SC version from TigerDirect and the MSI 4890 OC at ZZF. $199 - -2.5% BCB - $30 MIR - $30 eBM = $135sh. MSI is cheaper for more performance but with 2yr warranty, eVGA with lifetime but more expensive and a bit slower. I have a single slot PCIe so can't SLI/Crossfire yet. Suggestions on which way to go? thanks -p

EVGA. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Excellent products and their rebates get paid very fast. MSI gear is ok, but many have bad rebate experiences with them, myself included (plus the 4890 deal has a second rebate involved, for eBM). I am still trying to talk myself into this deal, moving from an current 8800GTS 512.

I just got off the phone with Dell Customer Support and they're saying they have no idea when the item will ship and it's "Temporarily Out of Stock". Since I placed the order yesterday afternoon (7th), I'll give it through the weekend and cancel next week if nothing happens.
