mpattdu said:At my Costco all I have to do is scan one coupon and it gives the discount on everything I've purchased that has a coupon. I made a point of checking the last time I was there (and this is in self-checkout).

It got me thinking though: lets say there is a coupon for $3 off their take/bake pizza and I use the pizza coupon to buy a pizza. A few days later I go back because I need something else and also have a coupon for that item. While I'm there, I decide that I want another pizza. When I check out will I get the pizza discount again when I scan the other non-pizza coupon, or will the system remember that I used that one already? I'll have to give it a try! Unfortunately, not much I need in this round of coupons.

that is what I normally do

$20 off of T/F, $30 off of Q/K....

Thank you all for the green

Correction -- the Huggies coupon should be "$9 off Huggies diapers when you buy a box of Huggies wipes". I saw the scans over at SD...

Anyone know anything about the quality of these toppers? My parents just got foam mattresses, and they are great. My wife and I are waiting to buy a king till we move in about a year, but are thinking about getting a queen topper for the time being.

THanks OP and anyone with advice.

Not cheap. I shopped for Michelin tires which is what my local Costco carries and I think Sears beat them even with the $70 off coupon.

Tires are not cheap. Material costs are high these days. Make sure you're comparing the same tires--manufacturer, model, size, etc. Also compare costs included in price--installation, road-hazard warranty, lifetime rotation/balancing, etc. Costco has been consistently very fairly priced for tires, and even better when they have these 'deals'. After purchase service, e.g. free rotation makes for even greater value. Costco generally has Michelin and BF Goodrich. If store does not have tire you need in stock they can order it in or you can order on-line for shipment to warehouse.

Lot of coupons are repetitive and not all that great when compared to Kirkland brand. For example, the napkins that are in the coupon book are almost double the Kirkland brand price. I've seen the same thing for things like Bounty compared to Kirkland.

I really needed tires TODAY and asked if I could get next week's price and they said "Sure". Got 4 Michelin X radials for my Camry for $411 out the door. (We have 8% sales tax) Base price was 94.58 each.

Pssst...I work there.

The coupon policy changed a bit recently because first they upgraded the system so that one coupon activates all coupons. Since it made it so easy on everyone, cashiers just put one coupon barcode at their register and scanned it for every customer. But then, so I was told, the manufacturers saw a huge spike in redemption percentages and wasn't too pleased, so the cashiers are back to asking for the coupons. At our Costco, they require that you cut out the coupons you're using or hand over the whole book. The reason behind that is currently the system doesn't know how to limit a coupon being used multiple times by the same member. It can only apply item limits per transaction, not per member or household. I'm sure some of you members have noticed that and maybe took advantage of that. Management isn't too concerned unless it's abused. Also there will be a coupon book every month for the rest of this year...and I'm guessing next year too if the economy stays in the dumps.

A couple of days back, i purchased this TV and now it is $50 lower than what i had bought for. Can i take the receipt to Costco and request a price adjustment? I like the TV and want to save the hassle of returning it and re-buying it!!!

Costco coupons are normally manufacturer instant rebates I believe. This means that you must make the purchase during the promotional period for them to get reimbursed by the manufacturer. To make a long story short, you're probably gonna have to do some sorta return to get your lower price

In the past, and that doesn't mean it's still true... you had two weeks after your purchase to get a coupon applied to your purchase. I had done it before, but with smaller things like DVD and things. I didn't have to take the discs in just the coupon book and my receipt. (that was Mt View, for all those still in the bay area)
I think I've done it once or twice here too.

the topper is novaform 3". it's likely more than $100 each even for a twin size.

it's comfortable & satisfactory based on previous users posted on the net such as one below:

http://www.werty.net/2005/05/novaform-elite-memory-foam-mattress...

i know there are a lot of posted comments, but scroll down to those commented earlier this year (2009) where you will find relevant info about the topper
