A similar one (4-Port) on DX is not 2.0 compliant (even though the package says it is). Not sure if this one really is.
So I would be wary.

The cheapest True 7port Powered 2.0 hub is about $16 on DX.

While this is a hot price (green for you op), keep in mind the adapter only provides 1000mah. A USB port at full power will use 500mah. Of course, not every device plugged in would need external power, but 1000mah for a 7 port device is not very strong. I have two different 7 port hubs and they are both 2000mah although they were twice the cost of this one (Fry's B&M).

For the price, its not a bad deal and its got a unique look to it.

There was one that was this style on DealExtreme. It was labeled USB 2.0, but it turns out it was really 1.1.

I donno if that is the case here, but someone might want to check when they recieve it and post back.

DealExtreme still has a 4 port one very similar to this one for $5.84. It appears to be USB2.0 based on the reviewers' comments.

A correction: Sorry, the DealExtreme one does not have external power supply. It takes power from two USB ports.
