i don't like it. it's unsightly. the whole point of the power squid is so that bulky ac adapters don't take up nearby outlets. But USB connectors are all standard size and don't suffer from this problem.

Yeah, it's ugly. Power outlets are also "standard size"; but things that plug into them
are not. Same with USB ports. Ever use those stupid USB thumb drive or network device?

Same here. I bought a 7 port usb hub form DX and it is crap because like you said, it will just randomly disconnected your stuff!

It is, it REALLY should come with a usb extension cable, fortunately I already have several.

Got mine almost 2 weeks ago. It seems to work ok. As far as people reporting problem disconnecting randomly, I have not experienced that. I only have my airlink 101 wireless adaptor plugged in.

Did you get the power adapter included with this package??? Mine was backordered and only today I received this USB hub. Shockingly it doesn't have any 2A power adapter included...

I'm in the same boat. No power adapter and it really does look ugly as sin
The fact that it was a powered hub is the sole reason I got this...

Mine was delivered today but not home to open it to see if they screwed me out of the pwr supply. Did u call customer support? I smell a credit card dispute brewing!

Mine just arrived as well. No power adaptor. With no answer to prior contact attempts on order status, I am not optimistic that they will respond to the adaptor issue.

Spoke with Shop4tech about the incomplete order. At first they tried to buffalo me saying that it didn't come with an exteral pwr supply, but I informed him that when I ordered it did and the customer feedback for the item indicated that others had received the pwr supply. So he offered 2 options: 1) email me a prepaid shipping label from UPS. 2) $3 off the incomplete order. I am returning it as I have plenty of non pwred hubs. The contact person is Hiandy at ph# 866 907 3626 ext 127.
