I bought this last time that woot sold it (month ago?) on a whim. I like mine a lot for packing around light and taking notes in class but beware that the keyboard on the 900 is tiny ... much smaller than the 10-inch version keyboard, if you haven't played around with any display netbooks. It hurts my hands a bit after an hour or so of work.
Also, the hard drive is small (4 gb) and can cause problems when doing updates on the installed OS. I installed eeebuntu notebook revision and haven't had any problems ... the ubuntu NBR was fine but had some function key layout glitches.
I upgraded mine by slapping a bootable 16GB SDHC (XP sp-3, for netbook). Yes, even I'm using a class-6 SDHC, it's a bit slowwww. Will upgrade to 32 GB SDHC, when its price is right.

Just checked the specs and pictures attached here. It sure does have a VGA port which is good.
there is no reason it should not work, the 900a has the atom processor which can run basically all x86 compatible software. but who knows what kind of hardware support google is planning for chrome os...
Bot this when it was slightly cheaper (169.99), replaced it with a Patriot SSD and installed Ubuntu Netbook remix 3.0. Battery lasts 5-6 hrs on a good charge. Kids played frozen bubbles for a good while till the battery died. Very easy to upgrade! Prefer this to the Acer Netbooks which are a b*tch to work on.

RE: the keyboard on the 900 is tiny
Use an external keyboard.
why the hell would you use an external keyboard, when the point of having a netbook is mobility?
