Anyone has the same experience?

Usually that has always been the case, but I was surprised yesterday they accepted my credit card no problem whatsoever, may be its because I also bought some groceries

Anyone has the same experience?

I just bought 4 with my credit card this morning.

THANKS OP

Went to different Publix with nicer manager, everything was good.
From my experience this deal is YMMV depending on the manager and the cashier.
If you got the "snotty" ones then everything will go South in a hurry.

Picked up 4 this morning...local Publix had plenty on shelf.

Assuming these can be used to pay at the pump, just like a credit/debit card?

This deal is even better for me. I usually pay cash for gas at BP which involves walking in and paying ... then walking back to the car and filling ... and then back in if the tank will not take any more than I've paid for. With these you just swipe them at the pump. This is a gas debit card.

I'll be buying one for myself and one for the wife!

Bought $20 more. Seriously people, if you drive then these are a no brainer. Who doesnt want to save $50 on every 9 or 10 fillups or so, even for those driving em cars that get 35+mpg

Or Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, or South Carolina

Great job, OP! Gonna try this out later today. Even if I only get one, it's worth the trip to the store.

Publix in Lexington, SC was out of $50 cards, so I asked if I could use the coupon on 2 - $25 Shell gas cards. The manager said she'd allow it today only. YMMV at other locations, but it's worth a try.

Go Cocks.

I'm in G'ville and hate Clemson.

Apppears to be DEAD, at least here in Birmingham.

Wife just called from inside the store, saying the circular doesn't have the coupon in it. And if you check online, there's a big white space where the coupon was sitting just a couple hours ago. Might vary by ZIP, though. I printed several off, so I'm going to try it after work.

Sold out at the stores I visited here in Orlando. The manager told me that he had to deal with people buying 10 cards or more at a time. Fatwallet effect ... or greed?

You be the judge.

And poor planning on Publix's side too. They should have put limit 1 per customer on the coupon itself.

ziffy, I don't believe a 1/customer would have done any good. Greed will drive people to do some pretty sad/crazy things ... just to save $10. These individuals would probably just buy them one-at-a-time. I believe in Fatwallet and the effect it can have ... but there is a line between the effect and pure, unadulterated greed.

Publix is a east coast thing. No go for us folks out on the west coast!

All Publix stores have plenty of ads with the coupon available in the front of the store. And employees are less apt to question a coupon torn from their ad than one printed from the internet.
