just back from the publix in bellview (tn) (west Nashville) They had 4 pegs of the shell, and 3 of the bp. Probably 100 total. scored a couple, grabbed the 3dollar off batteries, and paid by CC.

Just left the Publix in Hollywood, Fl and scored 6 cards. I printed the coupon out 5 times and initially tried 2 and the CSR took it and I put on my CITI AMEX (5%). I asked her nicely what the limit was and she said - None. I told her I would be right back and took 4 more. I charged those to my CC as well. I used the printed coupon for the first five and she actually had a flyer behind the counter and gave me the sixth. They had plenty of both and no one else seemed interested there.

I ended up going to a store only 5 minutes from my house and found that they had about 25 of each card. The BP are very popular while the Shell ... not so much. Picked up two and made sure to leave many for other people to purchase.

the other 2 stores i went to had plenty of cards but limited them to 5
but one of the stores told me that they got a memo from corporate that day saying that they can no longer accept printed copies whcih is stupid since they have their ads right at the front

I got 5 cards as well. Didn't need the coupon. Cashier already knew about it.

I had to ask the manager a question on the way out and had all 5 cards in hand when he says:

"Let me ask you something..........Why are you doing that?"

I said
"Because its a good deal on gas."

He says
"I really don't know why corporate did that."

Then he just shrugs.

LOL!!!

Publix has got to be going broke over these. I bought 8 and my Fiance behind me bought 8. We saved 160 bucks on gas and used Credit cards for added 1-2% Cash Back. Gas is a commodity and these will be used.

Baldwin park Orlando store had them on a display at entrance in front of customer service desk with both types and pre cut coupons in the display!

My sister in law told me about the deal since I'm visiting Orlando. My wife and her went to a Publix, grabbed 10 coupons and 10 cards. No issues at all. My wife charged it to our citi platinum AMEX card.

so $100 saved, and 5% Cash Back on $400. Great deal.
