Looks like a good find. I linked it in quick summary for you. All you have to do is click the little box that says link, enter URL, and then what you want it to say, or the text. Easy as that! If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
WhiteBoi figured out the catch. The deal with them going from 3 years to 1 year warranty wise, is because Toshiba laptops are low quality and prone to problems. My friend bought a nice expensive loaded Toshiba laptop and had nothing but problems with it. And for many years now Toshiba has been known for their poor customer support. He ended up getting it fixed a number of times under warranty, then ditching it on craigslist. A google search will further illustrate the points I've made. Most of the time you'll find when companies drastically reduce their warranties, there's a good reason behind it.
I've been a Dell customer all along and I thought I should give Toshiba a chance and I came to know I should not experiment. Vista got screwed up in a week on the Toshiba laptop. So, I thought, okay let me restore from the restoration DVDs. Boy, was I wrong! The restoration DVDs never worked! Exceptions all the way, one after another after another! I haven't been able to restore to factory settings until now.

This is not a rebate. This is a promotion code for instant $80 savings. And bing has 2.5 CashBack as well for Newegg....

OTOH Toshiba tech support is garbage, both by phone and through their website, which, like HP/Compaq's, lacks a lot of essential information. You'll probably have to resort to IrisVista.com and other independent sites instead.
This makes a big difference for me, since the very reason I am buying a new laptop is my Dell laptop which is not even 2 years old has fallen apart and was a lemon from the start. I bought 3 of the same at the same time, one for me and my dad and my daughter, (Vostro 1500) their's are fine, mine has been a nightmare, out of the box, cord that falls out, I am on my 3rd Hard drive, 3rd DVD drive, the mic's and headset plugs are iffy and I can't use Skype with my clients thanks to this, and now a hinge broke on the screen. Dell has refused to help me, I was in the middle of the DVD problem when my 1 year warranty ran out and they just cut me off. They have been awful, beyond awful. The first time I needed a new hard drive they were trying to remotely fix the broken dvd player and they tech flashed the bio's and ruined it. I don't understand why they they would spend so much time and money sending me things, and trying to fix things on the phone with me, (well over 50 hours, I documented everything,) and not just admit I got a bad computer and send me a new one! This was a lemon from the git go. I will NEVER buy another Dell and I am a website designer and I talk to people all day about computers and I will never recommend a Dell to anyone again. I have 6 Dells, (yes I really do) and I used to think they were great, now I see they have changed and are so short sighted with the way they have treated me. I just sent off photos and a long letter documenting all the parts and all the time and all the crap I have been through with this laptop the last 18 months to 5 people on the Corp Board. I don't expect anything to come out of it but you never know. I had to do that with Best Buy 4 years ago and they did send me a 350.00 GC, but I would rather have the service and products I paid for quite frankly. This is very stressful.
In the meantime I need to buy a new laptop with a longer warranty, and obviously better quality ( and I will extend it this time!) sorry for the rant!
