If you are thinking of starting a new service (or adding on a line onto an existing Sprint service), Sprint is currently running a referral bonus program where the referred customer gets $25, and the referring customer gets $50. If you are on both sides of the transaction (i.e., you are adding a new line of service for your own purposes), that means you can get $75 back from Sprint.
For new phone or data card service signed up between 7/12/09 and 10/31/09, have the new customer dial #REF (#733) or visit http://sprint.com/referafriend within 15 days of activation to complete the referral process.
Note that the website says the referring customer gets $25; but the paper mailer that I received clearly says $50 for the referring customer. There is a limit of 12 referrals per year.
The Sprint Referral Rewards Program ended 1/9/10. If you activated a phone or a Mobile Broadband card by 1/9/10 and submitted the Referral by 1/24/10 (or within 15 days of activation), you should receive your Referral Rewards 8-12 weeks from the date of your submission. To submit your referral, dial #733 from your new phone if you activated a phone or use the links below if you activated a connection card.
