I don't know, seems great at this price. People have paid $650 & think they got a great deal. I just got a Klipsch sub and it retails for $495, and I bet this ML sounds better.
Very true. I think the Klipsch will have more earth shaking boom, while the ML would be a more refined thump, sharper and crisper. These are the low end of the Martin Logan line up, but some reviewers say the sound very similar to their $2000+ subs.
They also sell a speaker pair for $25,000. I wonder what THOSE sound like...... 8)

I bet every time you turn them on, you hear a "cha-ching!" and cheering from ML headquarters. Just a guess...

Sounds like a music oriented sub rather than for HT. Probably not the best choice for watching movies.

Great price for high end audio. Been saving for an Outlaw LFM Compact, but this seems just as good.

I checked all the reviews and comments I could find on this sub.
Some of the the most informative and I'm guessing intelligent reviews are here .
Frankly, I was hoping to come up with a reason not to buy this sub, since I don't really need it. I've owned many inexpensive ones in the past and always wound up getting rid of them for one reason or another. I'm much more into 2-channel music than movies, etc. This sub seems to excel at everything--even at full retail.
It looks like a like-new condition used specimen of this sub would probably go for not much less (perhaps even the same/more) than this deal's delivered price of $325. Damn...looks like I'll have to get one. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be out of stock when I order it.
Damn; the order went through. Just kidding (sort of).
Thanks OP, just got myself one. Price was too hard to pass up on. I have the ML Clarity's in the listening room and wanted to give it some tight bass and was looking for a subwoofer. This deal came along just in time and at just the right price.
I got my sub today. I had chosen the regular/free shipping and Amazon had indicated that it may take a couple weeks to get it, but what a pleasant suprise.
I hooked it up and it is awesome. Still need to play with it, but I have started to like it already.....
Hooked up the sub last night on the living room TV system. I'm extremely happy with the performance for the money spent. It's a good sub at $650, but just incredible for half that. This deal is what FatWallet is all about!
In for 1! Price up to $350, should have pulled the trigger sooner. Now the problem is what to do with the Velodyne VRP-1000 (aka VX-10) that just arrived today from the earlier Amazon deal. Anyone interested in a brand new unopened Velodyne sub for $104 plus shipping *sigh*?
