My Target had these for $7.xx last week. Bought all 4 that they had. If you bought a better phone from online, then activate these first and transfer the number each time. Make sure the phone you want to use is transferred last. You will get all the credit for the minutes and the extra time to use your phone.

can you even use those phones you bought after you x-fer them? What do you do with them? Sale them?

I believe Office Max has a mail-in program that gives you $1 each for them. They provide all shipping materials and costs. You could also sell the phone and the charger on CL for a few extra bucks too. Some people might need the battery or the charger for an existing phone. What's funny is that the transferred phones say Simcard Inactive but still show 300 minutes.
Just a heads-up on the on-line deal for $22. I've been through 3 consecutive defective phones with them, and they were not the same model.
I used to sell the phone cheap on CL and keep the card, but when this defective streak hit - I am reluctant to sell the phone. 3.7¢ per minute is a screaming deal if you don't mind a basic phone or get around $11 for the phone (easy). But now I am paying 25¢ per minute for a Verizon PAYG phone due to my Net10 phones being down for weeks.
Anyone else run into this problem? I am ready to walk away once my minutes are up.

I bought 3 of these phones in June for my triplets' b-day and haven't had any problems. Yet, anyway.
