Is that worth risking getting into trouble for potentially coupon abuse/fraud? If the odds are 0.004% and the damage is $100,000....you can do the math.
Are you sure its a scan? If you notice when the PDF is first being displayed, the background, images, text, and lines are all rendered separately. If it was a scan, it would be just one big image on each page. This looks to be a leak from a printing company, marketing company, or someone inside Starbucks.

...or maybe instead of a $100K lawsuit they'll just politely inform you that they won't accept the coupon?

Maybe it is not a scan, but it is a digital reproduction. Maybe you could use your sleuthing skills to find Madoff's money.
Just used coupon successfully in Midtown NYC. Plainly printed it on 2 pages and stapled front to back. Barrista entered code and took coupon. 1 free strawberry banana Vivanno. If only there wasn't so much ice in it...

Printed 3 of them (only 1st page) and 3 of my Colleagues got 1 each strawberry/banana here at newport, nj starbucks.
We told it was sent in the email and she ask'd the manger who approved.

Thanks. My Chase statement is sitting untouched at home because I already cleared my balance online. I'll have to tear it open and see if there's anything good in it!
Starbucks has a "Just Say Yes" policy, so very few baristas or managers will turn you away if you try to utilize a printout of these coupons (although two separate pages stapled together is pushing it, because Starbucks would have issued an email coupon that could be printed on a single page--think McFly, think!).
There was a similar issue with coupons being printed out and used for an iced coffee promotion a couple of summers back, and Starbucks honored the majority of those coupons.
At some point in the future they will begin not accepting coupons that are clearly not originals--they have been tightening their belts with the economy the way it is, as indicated by the drastic change in their return policy, which is no longer as lenient as it once was.
The logo and texts are in vector format. Therefore I am 99% certain that this is legit.

Awesome, I need to try this later then. Too bad I'm at work right now and the coupon's going to come out black and white here. Wonder if that would be pushing it...

True...very odd really that they did not use a PDF printout of the original, as the graphics in this are such low quality (could have been optimized for digital distributino). In addition, the text appears to have been re-entered and the fonts and font sizes are somewhat off from the hardcopy coupons I received in the mail for my Starbucks Gold Card membership.
Still, try printing front to back if at all possible...would look better that way.

Well, if that's the case, here an even better coupon!
hahaha, speaking of realx, the grammar in the last line is incorrect as well. They said "there" when they definitely should have said "their" ! Kinda obvious but good nonetheless!
I wasn't trying to fool anyone into believing it was a real coupon. I just stapled it together so the Barista would have an easier time entering the correct code.
I got this coupon in the mail for being a Gold Card Member. Only suppose to be Gold Card Members using it, part of the perk of paying Starbucks $25.00 a year to get the 10% discount.

so the free one is code 547 or 549? depends on how the original coupon was printed, it could be either.

I couldn't even finish it for her. It also left a terrible aftertaste. It went in the trash can with the cup over 3/4 full!

LOL. I printed the coupon and I have the same question. I am thinking 547 because the front and back should face the same direction.
