I don't know if BB does this but last time netflix had a promotion they charged me the 12.99 and took it off 2 days later. With the whole fiasco last time, i'm going to pass but thanks op!

I'd rather just not even bother, I don't mind redbox since we don't watch movies all too often.

I personally prefer blockbuster than netflix, due to the blueray access fee for netflix.

I am not sure why people with blueray player will go with netfix when only the price is different (higher with netflix).

Don't count on it. Check back in 6 days/ a week. Last time they did this to FWers so check the Fiasco thread someone mention above. They changed it to 2 weeks as oppose to 3 monthes last time so this time it could be only 2 weeks for you. Again don't count on it and get charge-check back in 1-2 week.

Does this include any game rentals?

I'm interested in this, but what they have in their stores is completely unappealing to me. I'm also new to Blockbuster (was never interested, and Netflix worked better for me).
Can you tell me, if I get the DVDs by mail and return them at the local store, will I be eligible to be sent new DVDs by mail the next day?

I expected them to go bankrupt also but I don't know...there are a ton of clueless people in my town still flocking to the B&M stores.

Blockbuster ships only scratched discs anyhow, so its no big deal. I am done with them and Netflix as well.

Hey guys, I just got the $12 FW FatCash! I did the six week trial; BB never billed either myself or my girlfriend; I waited a few weeks; and then I re-enrolled from the FatWallet CB link. The deal says it was only for their "Premiere/Premium" whatever service but I signed up for the $16.99/mo. 3-Out/Mail-Only plan and still got it.
