Recertified SanDIsk Sansa Clip 2GB MP3 Player for $24.00 Shipped at Newegg.com

I know a lot of people cringe, and even scream, when they read the word recertified or refurbished. I on the other hand don't mind to see that in the title when it comes to Sansa products. I have ordered two different refurbished Sansa MP3 players and they have worked like a charm for a few years now. The Clip is great. It has 2 gigs and an FM tuner which works our for perfect for my bike rides and workouts. The earbuds that came free with the Clip are better than the $30 ones I already had. $24.00 Shipped at Newegg.com. This is the best price I can find by $9.

sweet! though there have been better deals on this in the past, this comes just in time - my old clip was taken when my apartment was broken into, and I've been suffering listening to crappy gym music while waiting for a decent deal to pop up

very good quality player... I'd be a little worried about physiscal issues on a refurb of it because it's relatively flimsy feeling plastic and a large clip. Lots of opportunity for physical damage.

Don't forget 10% CashBack with Bing.

Go to bing.com and search Newegg. A link for 10% should pop up at the top.

I love this little player, I picked it up a while back on sale at OfficeDepot, for 19.99 new (from fw post), the battery is not replaceable so I would hesitate for a recert

This is a great little player. It has the same chip set as the Fuze.

Refurb Fuzes are usually available for about $35 and have the advantage of having a microSDHC card (up to 16GB) expansion slot.

The Clip is very small so you don't even notice it in your pocket. Great for exercising.

Newegg has 30 day return policy for refund or replacement on this Clip. A restocking fee does apply.

Actually, I did a search and updated the older original post of this item by an edit to the summary, and by a reply to post this new price, but I made an error in the price.

Also, Woot is selling the Fuze 4gb today and is still available.

My 2Gb recertified Clip lasted about a year until I first had to take it apart to resolder the battery down. It is a nightmare to do (They aren't designed to be taken apart without a little damage) but it lasted a few more months until they died completely. It's a great player, I used mine 10+ hours a week and it has fantastic sound. I've been using my iphone lately and it sucks comparatively in terms of sound quality (Yes, I played with the EQ settings).

I shall be buying another one as soon as I see a 4Gb on sale.....

I love love love this player, but I question the build quality. I'm currently on my third one, the display on the first two died, each within six weeks. I don't think that I'm very rough on them, I really don't know what the problem is. I also gave one to a friend with similar results.

That said, I almost wonder if the recertified is the way to go - maybe there was a weakness with the display with some players that has been resolved here.

I have had an original 2gb fr 2 years with no problems at all. I bought 6 of the refurbs off woot (for my whole family) and they all still work great. I got in on the 8 gig clearance at wal mart a few months back and it once again works great. No problems yet with any of mine.
