My beef with Craftsman rechargables is the availability, compatability, and cost of consumables (batteries). I loved my 18v drill and trim saw until it was time to replace the batteries. It was cheaper to replace the entire tool set with Ryobi One alternatives. These seem to work as well and a design goal is compatibility, so I don't expect to have to landfill these as quickly.

Regular price on these is $399, making this a 50% cut.
