That store should have closed a long time ago.

I have only seen a couple of Kmart's in my travels that would even pass as a modern store.
Most are really old and look like thrift stores.

Sad to say but this is a store that should have passed into retail history years ago. Like Zayer's and Woolco and Big K.

Kmart Columbia SC Arrow Wood/Dutch Square store is closing too.

So sad that those which helped bankrupt K-mart were able to use Sear's own cash to finance their buyout and bring about their slow ruin. Sears was on its way down by its own hands, but they may have rallied or lasted longer without the 'help' from Kmart. Who knows?

Pitty those long-time Sears employees that brought us Craftsman quality. They are now retired and have but promises, Kmart backed stock ownership, and shaky pension and insurance plan controlled Kmart. Greed doth consume and claim its owner.

Interesting, and sadly ironic that the same management mindset which brought us Chrystler, GM, et al gave us K-Mart

Are Kmart is going out of bussiness as well. The shit there is more expensive now then it was before hand! lol they tripled inflated the prices then knock off 40% I cant belive how many idiots will fall for this scam the store is almost wiped out. All u got to do is thorw up some going out of bussiness signs and some 40% to 60% off and people will buy anything at any cost just cause they think there getting a deal.
