The Hydrapak is great for all you bikers and day hikers who only need your hydration pack to do one thing, hydrate. It's design is simple and intuitive with a 70 fl. oz. insulated reservoir and air-mesh panel and shoulder straps. No frills here, just the basics. $19.93 with free shipping to your nearest REI store. This is the best price I can find by $10.

I was looking at these the other day--good deal here. What I want to know is can you put beer in this thing and how long will it stay carbonated/cold for. I know I'm asking all the wrong questions!! Thought this would be bad a$$ for quickly approaching college football tailgating though.

haha. If you are going to go that route, I would go by a cheap WalMart reservoir. The one that comes with the pack is of good quality, so it would be a shame if it got ruined. Or you can try this Beerbelly, a product designed with you in mind.

I used my Camelbak at a couple of Bears Games last year with a little Makers & 7. My 100 oz'er was dry by the 3rd quarter though. Ha. If you clean out the bladder of the Bak, you'll be fine. You can sneak it into the game right under your coat as well. Giddy Up!!
