Shop4tech has the HD Component AV Cable for Nintendo Wii for $6 - $1 off with coupon code ES17 [Exp 9/7] = $5 with free shipping. No waiting a month for the Deal Extreme one. This ships quickly.
If you have a HDTV and you don't have a component cable for your Wii, get one! The difference in picture quality is huge. Definitely worth $5. The details are much sharper. Text is clearer and sharper. You'll see the texture in the grass on Wii Golf and Tennis.
If you have a SDTV, this will still make the picture look a lot better than the standard composite cable. But be sure your TV has a component input, many older TVs don't have one. In that case, you should get the S-video adapter for the Wii.
I got it now, you have to go thru with payment (Paypal/Google checkout), then you come back to the site and select delivery method. At the bottom of the delivery page, you can put in the promo code. Kinda odd since most sites have you pay as the very last thing.
NP. By the way this also works well with HD gamecube games that you play on the Wii. A couple include the Star Wars series, Mario Kart Double Dash and others. They display in progressive scan format.

True, but what you failed to mention is using a Wii component cable DOES improve the picture quality quite substantially over the standard or S-VIDEO cable.
