It's still a moneymaker if you also submit the upgrade rebate.Remember its the same upgrade rebate promotion number since late 2008. So, if you've already done it ...
i had a different problem. showed as $40 but rebate pdf had an error. I went to a different site and the link was fine; http://images.frys.com/art/rebates_pdf/5723572_090709.pdf
Didn’t work on either of the browser, finally decided to clear cookies and go to homepage and search for the product, but product was listed on homepage at -$5 AR, what a magic. See attached.

I tried several times on one computer and it wouldn't work. I finally tried it on another computer and it went right through $42.80 with tax. So getting a $45 rebate pays the tax and then some! Nice!
I ordered successfully by changing browsers, however it appears that they changed the price to $45 after the $10 discount so it is not a $5 money maker but a FAR. Still good.
Looks like it's fixed now. Shows as $55 - $10 ID - $45 rebate = $0AR
At least that's what's showing for me ATM.

Changed a browser (IE), it was $40 in cart, but turned to be $50 when I checked out. Changed another browser (Chrome), it worked. So clean cookie first. If it doesn't work, then try another browser. Thanks OP.
this is pretty interesting...showed up as $55 base price for me, then in checkout $45...so possibly a small price increase by fry's to make it far plus taxes....

Thanks, OP. If you buy this with a "hardware accessory" you might be able to get an extra $50 (YMMV). See the quick summary for a link. I think both require the original UPC, hence YMMV. Update: If the OP's link doesn't work there are some links at SD that do.

File seems fine here opening it in FF as well as IE. File is fine even downloading it first to drive before opening it with Adobe Reader. I haven't pulled the trigger yet since it's still toggling between $55 - $45 MIR = $10 or $55 - $10 IS - $45 MIR = $0 in both IE & FF with cookies cleared. Still holding out hope between now and end of rebate period (09/08/09) for the original $50 - $10 IS - $45 MIR = -$5 and hoping it doesn't go OOS before then.
