Go read the reviews @ Newegg. Most of the unhappy reviewers of this product were b/c of the rebate. and there are ALOT of them. It kept me from purchasing an OCZ PSU for my last build. I've never dealt with them personally though.
OCZ gives a smaller timeframe to send the rebate paperwork in, but besides that you should be fine. Make sure to have scans/copies of everything you send it, and if the rebate people give you a hard time, contact OCZ directly for resolution.

Yeah, their rebates are fine these days. I've done 4 in the past several months and all came without a hassle. I'm trying to decide between this PS and the higher priced, but nicer, Corsair 520.

OCZ is using WorldwideRebates now and it is a pain to deal with. ASUS and ZZF are using the same rebate center. I sent in 2 rebates (ASUS, ZZF) in July and they claimed they didn't receive them. I have to resubmit them, but after 17 days, still no update on the status. I will try to avoid buying anything, if rebate is sent to 4myrebate.com
