Rock Band (1) for 360 is also FAR, but I have no details on the pre-rebate price (sorry, my kid saw it and had no details other than "Free After Rebate")
WWE Smackdown vs RAW 09 is also free after $30 rebate. Thanks to tpxtrd!

Limit one (1) rebate per item/UPC per household or address. No PO Boxes allowed.
For the unfamiliar, FYE (For Your Entertainment). Here's a Store Locator.
FYE is a Trans World Entertainment company; this offer may also be valid at other Trans World Stores, which include:
Coconuts Wherehouse Music Spec's Music Saturday Matinee Suncoast
The rebate form does read: Only valid at Trans World Entertainment Retail Stores, so there's a strong possibility of this being good at those stores as well.
As for the rebates, I've done dozens of them with Trans World and received them all. They will accept their price sticker from outside the shrink wrap, the one with the UPC on it. You do NOT need to cut the UPC from the game. The rebate form printed out at point of purchase, along with two receipts (original and rebate copy). As always, keep copies of all rebate materials.
If anyone finds further details on Rock Band, please share.
Hm...just bought Rock Band 2. Might have to go pick up Rock Band 1 just for the songs. Not such a huge Madden fan but for FAR I might grab that too. Thanks OP!
Great deal. Of course I just moved in July and the nearest FYE is >60 miles away...

Torrance, CA location has like 4 or 5 copies of WWE Smackdown 09 free($30 w/ $30 MIR). Could not find any copies of Madden 09 which was also FAR even though their system says they have 4. They also have some other decent deals, Halo 3 for $15 after rebate, etc.
JaxFL said: OP, Do you have the rebate website info. Trying to find out what versions may be available other than xbox, if any.
I looked yesterday at both FYE.com and twec.com, did not see anything. I know they used to keep their current rebates online, but if they do now, they're well hidden. Once it's been submitted, a rebate can be tracked at fyerebates.com.
After some time spent researching this, here is the rebate link. It wont help much because the rebates are from $5 - $50, no telling how much for a game as they are all listed for each $$ amount. Ive looked at the upc's, some games have complete sets of consoles (360,ps2,ps3,ds, wii, psp - NO PC that I saw) and other games have just certain systems.
There is Gforce (Almost all consoles), Overlord II, Resident Evil, Ghostbusters, Transformers, Harry Potter Half....
Is the rebate limit one $30 title per person, or one per UPC, per person?
The $30 online rebate form specifies a bunch of valid UPC's and is written in plural, but does not specify a limit, so can the OP or anyone who purchased last night check if a limit is specified on the printed register rebate form?
From the online form:
Promotion Details: 9/09/09 thru 10/06/09 only. Valid in the United States and its territories. Request must be postmarked by 11/06/09. Replications of UPC bar code symbols are not valid. Please allow 10-12 weeks for delivery. No Post Office Boxes allowed. Products returned to store without original UPC label will not be accepted. Fraudulent submissions could result in Federal Prosecution under the U.S. Mail Fraud Statutes (18 United States Code. Section 1341 &1342). Not responsible for lost or misdirected mail. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Dont get people confused, not every one of the upc on the info you provided is for $30, it may be for only $5.
Very true, the UPC list is the same for each price level, so the rebate could be anywhere from $5 to $50 for any of those listed UPC's. Unfortunately they don't have them separated by rebate amount.
I second that. VERY YMMV. Called about 5 stores in the Seattle, Boise and San Diego areas, and only one even carried games and they were out of 09. And one store had been closed.
Yeah, I know, DON'T CALL, but my father ain't gonna run out just to see if they have it.

Just an FYI about FYE: not all of them sell video games, so it maybe worth a phone call (JUST TO SEE IF THEY SELL GAMES) before you drive out there.
apparently used games don't count for this? It didn't show up on receipt, but can you still send them in for rebate? Curious...
Edit: Oh, and my local store had the Rock Revolution bundle marked down to 59.99-$50 rebate to make it $10+tax. Not a great game, but figure it does come with a pair of drumsticks to use for rock band! lol
All they had were used games, except for beatles rock band and guitar hero bundles.

if you order two items on the same receipt with a 30 dollar rebate on each of them. can you get both if you used another name and address for the second purchase?

If yes, then no; you are out of luck. If different UPC's, then no need for two addresses, the limit is one of each PC per customer.
Also, my suggestion with FYE rebates is to make copies of everything you send. I have lived by an FYE for years and participated in several of their programs, and as long as you have a copy of what you sent, there is no dispute that the requirements were met.
would love to know if anyone can update on which titles are FAR. Hard to tell since my local FYE doesn't keep their prices on their items updated...bleh
Great deal OP - thanks. Got 4 games at the Woodfield mall store outside Chicago. Unfortunately, they were all the last copy available and had been opened - but for free I won't complain.
I snagged a few of the FAR games, but none more than what are already listed. There were a few titles (like Spiderwick Chronicles for 360) that ended up being $5 or less AR, but I don't feel like spending any cash lol. I did sign up for the VIP card though to get the 10% off and a free month membership...it goes through Trilegiant, which offers all sorts of bonuses for signing up for their subscriptions. I plan on canceling within a month and getting the $20 gift card in the mail. Score!
A rebate form prints out with your receipt. You can also find them by going here (as suggested by JaxFL on the first page of this post) and entering the promotion code Sanjoelo put in the OP (09-93708).
I bought Halo 3 Limited Edition for $10AR (cheaper than the regular Halo 3!) and Rock Band for the 360 for FAR at the Kenwood store in Cincinnati. I also signed up for the rewards thing and will cancel in three weeks just to make sure - it's $9.99/month if you don't cancel - ridiculous!
I spent $10AR for NCAA Football 2009. I turned down (of course) the membership rewards scam.

I picked up Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the 360 today along with 3 other games that did have rebates, but SW: TFU didn't show up on the rebate form. Anyone else buy this game in the last day or so with the same problem? I'll probably just return it instead of taking a chance with the online rebate form.

I believe that someone on slickdeals had the same problem.

I purchased it and didn't have any issue. When I purchased Saints Row 2 though I did, and I found out it was because someone tagged it with the collector's edition of the game. Went back and they fixed the issue, though they wouldn't reprint the sticker for me stating I had to send in the UPC from the box.
Just received email confirmation of my rebate. Looked it up and it said it was valid and being sent for final processing. That was certainly quick! I sent in the UPC stickers from the package, not from the box...just for the record.
Just picked up Madden 09, WWE vs Raw 09, and Assassin's Creed for $88.86 (Pleasanton, CA) after getting 10% off for their rewards program. So after $80 in rebates, and a $20 cash card from their rewards program, I'm satisfied with the deal.

Anyone get any new updates on the latest rebates and what games they are good for?
