I just got mine today. Only bought it in case my main one breaks so I haven't actually used it. It's about as long as the Ideazon Merc and the keys feel a little mushier. It comes with extra keys for WSAD, arrows, shift, and space cuz OCZ rocks like that.

I bought a memory in April and got the rebate in time, some time in the summer. I bought some more of the same memory with a different promotion in May and the rebate has been stuck with the approval note since May. So I called last week and they were like: we do not know what's up, but the status has been changed to approved not in May but on the day I called. When I called the next day to find out what's going on they were acted like - a great news your rebate has been approved yesterday, please allow 8 weeks for delivery.
And their memory did not support the speed they climed.

Is it just me, or is the rebate link not working? I get taken to the OCZ rebate center site, but a search for the promotional code reveals nada...

ZZF rebates scare me. I have two ZZF rebates which were "Approved" two months ago according to online tracking. But I havn't receive the checks or prepaid cards. Wish I could receive them some day.
Watch out for OCZ kbds. If it's like the illuminati, the keys have short (laptop like) throws. I looked at the picture and these don't look much better. Then again, if you get the rebate, this is almost free so the price is right. The show throw keyboard on the desktop, though, really cause me to have more typos than usual.
yes be VERY careful with the OCZ MIR. i got burned twice. make sure 1. you have invoice dated within promotion period. 2. ALWAYS photo copy everything. 3. don't be cheap! get your mail in letter certified or signature returned. 4. ALWAYS follow up!

Not sure, I think I got a rebate on the exact same deal with no troubles. It took a while to show up, but that is normal for rebates. Overall I've had good luck with OCZ stuff and I actually own this keyboard. Its quite nice for the money and a great deal at a buck. Its nice for PC gaming. Only issue I had was the ugly color of blue on it, but thats just my taste.
Still in stock; green for op. My experience with ZZF and OCZ rebates has been good; usually they take longer than advertised, but a call always seems to speed them up. $20.99 - $20.00 (MIR) - $1.05 (5% penfed back-to-school rewards) - $0.63 (3% bing CashBack; still not posted to account though) + $0.44 (stamp) + $0.00 (steal an envelope from my coworker - shhhh don't tell her!) + $0.00 (use the workplace printer to print out rebate forms - hopefully my boss doesn't frequent these boards!)

Total cost to me: -$0.25 and a lunch break! it'd be easier to just steal your coworker's keyboard.

I have very bad experiences with www.4myrebate.com, which handles OCZ, ZZF, and ASUS rebates now. I sent in ZZF and ASUS rebates in July, they claimed both are lost, and asked me to resubmit. It has been more than another 3 weeks now, still no update on the status.

And I didn't really steal her envelopes; I have a whole pack of envelopes I got on sale. I used my own stamps, but I did use the company's printer...

just got mine. totally sweet. their rebate form is very specific. you have to tape the upc to the form and cut out their address label and tape that to the envelope. and you only have 3 weeks to send it. like a fun little arts and crafts project. I made mine extra pretty.
keyboard is nice. has that antislip hard rubber feel. macro keys and short cut keys. good feel, keys don't wiggle sideways, just straight down. medium stroke length somewhere between laptop and regular keyboard. not loud, not to quiet. doesn't feel like a cheapo keyboard. oversized delete key that you could hit without looking. and the number pad is closer to the rest of the keys than usual. they slimmed down the unused space in that area of the home, pageup and directional keys. clean and tight.

I submitted another OCZ rebate but didn't tape their address label to the envelope. I just printed the address directly on the envelope. I got an acknowledgment email today. It would be a downright shame if they denied my rebate for not using their address label.

i ordered last week,. ,got the kybrd.. it is nice with lots of controls and programmable keys on keyboards
keys are like laptop keys... but keyboard is sleek,.,
i used Bing .. so this came out to be few cents...
it doesnt have left windows key though.. .so at times it is irritating .. .
This rebate outfit is quite impressive. They scan everything in, even the front of your envelope. They let you view the scans online as a PDF file. It's tough enough sometimes to even find out if a rebate outfit has received the submission, so this is VERY impressive.
ocz rocks......have done at least 10 rebates with them and im 10 for 10.......you should make sure you do evertryhting to the letter, AND make copies of everything, AND set a date reminder as to when the (max) date your arrival of mir comes......
and to the guy who said the ram didnt work at advertised speeds....i'll bet you MONEY that you left voltages on auto.....change the voltages to what ocz recommends and i'll bet it works....thats what happened to a friend of mine on a build i did for him. threw up memory errors until we switched voltages....then no errors
