Sorry to threadcrap... Honeywell air purifiers have been crap for years. They're made in china by a company called Kaz that Honeywell licensed their name to, and they do *NOTHING*. I use fredreich and rabbit air...

I don't know what you are using as a gauge, but they have served me well. I took my old one to the office and it has made a huge difference. the only problem is that the noise annoys some people when on the high speed. That is the only reason I am buying a new one.

FWIW Consumer Reports rates the big Honeywell's near the top of the middle pack. Not the best, but far from the worst. At this price and with the honeywell's low maintenance cost its pretty high up there in terms of bang for the buck. The $500 Fredreich does a better job, but CR does not recommend it due to its ozone generation.

How about other air purifiers like iq air, rabbit air, blu air, coway air purifier & etc. do they have ozone generation????
