how long is this peachtree deal gonna last? Do they usually repeat it through all of october?
I see last year they sold this all the way through october 18.

The $taples sale of Peachtree free after rebate usually occurs about 6 to 7 times during the course of a year. Though it has occurred twice in two months, does not mean that it will occur next month.

I think you can not use online receipt. The terms clearly say that use packing slip as the receipt, if you ordered online.
This sofware has an instant discount, so I wonder if any Staples "$30 off $150" coupons are invalid. I was denied use of my $25 off $100 coupon that Staples had mailed me just recently.

If you call Staples, they will mail you an original packing slip which you can use for the rebate.What number did you call? When this happened to me for the first time regular CSRs won't mail me anything but only offered to email, and what they emailed was the same thing that is online. The rebate was paid anyway. Next time I did not bother to call.
I have done two of these rebates so far and neither has gone smoothly. The first time they rejected it for failure to include the serial number, even though the form did not ask for it. I had to complain to the BBB.
This time, I received my box from Staples in the mail, and the box was in perfect condition yet my Peachtree box was damaged. Weird, i thought. I tried to register the software and the serial number was already registered. Weirder. I called up their customer service, and they told me Staples sold me a secondhand copy. I have no idea how this happened, since the box was sealed (even though it was a little damaged). Now I have to fax over my Staples receipt, and waste an hour on the phone getting this straightened out. Hassle!
