This rebate, 09-98684, for Peachtree Pro 2010 at Staples requires the software to be registered. This can be done by phone (1-800-936-7059) or online (www.peachtree.com >> Support & Training >> Register Peachtree)
The rebate also requires that you include the:
- Original UPC Code - Store Receipt (original packing slip for online orders) - Serial Number - Registration Number - Customer ID Number
The serial number is on the cd case inside the software box. The registration number and customer ID number are provided during registration.
The rebate can be pre-submitted at www.rebateshq.com. While the rebate form will still need to be mailed in, the main advantages of pre-submitting are having a tracking number from the get go and not having the rebate processors misspell your personal information. Do make sure to write the serial, registration and customer id on the pre-submit form as there usually are no lines provided for this information.

how long is this peachtree deal gonna last? Do they usually repeat it through all of october?
I see last year they sold this all the way through october 18.

The $taples sale of Peachtree free after rebate usually occurs about 6 to 7 times during the course of a year. Though it has occurred twice in two months, does not mean that it will occur next month.
