Today(Sunday Oct 4th) is family and friends night at Sears, everything is extra 5 - 20% off.
I bought the tv 2 days ago at a sales price of $999 minus 10% off for Sears card($956 after tax). Went in today for a price adjustment and got it for $816 after tax.
Sears.com shows the price as $949.99 But in stores the price is $854 you can get an extra %10 off using your Sears card
TC-P50S1 deal is as follows
regular price - $1399 current sales price $999 - 10% for using Sears card = $899 - 10% for buying a panasonic TV over 46" (i'm not sure if this is a deal only for today) = $809 - 5% family and friends night savings on this TV (other TVs vary) = $768! = great deal on this set
No rebates, no coupons, no bing Cash Back. You just have to use your existing Sears card or open a new one. I went in to check it before ordering it online and was shocked and excited enough that they were doing better than their online deal and were pretty close to the price after bing Cash Back all without any hassles.
Thank you fatwallet community.

You posted this with the title "Today Only Oct 4th" at 7:47 PM and expect people to take advantage of it?. You didn't post this for the Fat Wallet community. You posted it to brag about the deal you got. That's fine but you should have posted it in the "Deals Discussion". By the time anyone here would see it and act on it, it was too late to take advantage of it. Red for that reason.

I became aware of this deal at 7:15pmET. Sears closes at 9pm. I figured at least ppl in the west coast would have ~4hrs to act on the deal (even more time for AK & HI). I've seen many deals here last only a few hours. Wasn't aware of a separate "Deals Discussion" section or how to post there, sorry for being a noob. Looking back on it, this TV for this price and only having a few hours to act on it... if that's not a HOT DEAL then idk what is. This was my first post for a deal and I was only trying to help. Sorry for trying.
