I just got a Dell Inspiron 1545, with a windows 7 copy when it comes out for $340 with tax and shipping( Dell Outlet) It comes with a 9 cell battery,Vista Home Premium, 2GB RAM, 160gb Hard Drive. I just use it for basic computing emails and word documents so this is all I need. There is a 15% off code running on them until the end of tomorrow, the laptop was originally 369 but with the 15% it seemed like a great deal! Good Luck!
My model was $369 before discounts, however people have posted getting them for 319, another posted a total of $307 with shipping and tax, this is a great deal, just wait and find the right one on the outlet!
P.S. Price was $313.30 before tax and shipping. I think I got a good deal but I am sure I will find out very quickly. Thanks!

While I have bought dozens of Dell in the last year or so... 100's going back 5 years. I also got 2 eMails telling me no more sales to me, but only a few were canceled. They talk like reseller is a 4 letter word...

Beware...!!! Dell's Outlet shipped a crappy (a lot of scratches) Mini-10V which is DOA to me.
The CSR (yeah, of course, w/ the Indian accense) refused to send me a replacement, since it is a "refurbished item. No matter I explained to the CSR, he told me NO...though I offerred my CC # as a collateral for the replacement. He insisted that I have to send the crappy DOA Mini-10V to Dell's repair depot, which I have to pay for the shipping & it would take 2-3 wks for a repair.
To make a long story short, I ended up w/ a request for a return authorization & the shipping label. Yep, I returned the crappy DOA Mini-10V.
Since then, I never ever go back to visit Dell's outlet...
