**Looks like they changed bing CashBack to only 8% now... so you only get $107.99 from bing, going to edit for the new price**

Sony Bravia 52" 1080P KDL52V5100 120 Hz LCD for $1080 + Tax after CashBack and Sears Card

Seems like a good deal to me. Here's the breakdown:

Sony KDL52V5100 (Sony Tv) for 1349.99 (was $2099.99)
10% Bing CashBack (Search Kenmore at www.bing.com) for -$107.99
10% Sears Card Rebate (Sears Rebate -$134.99
So Thats -$269.99 Total with Bing CashBack and Sears Card Rebate which would equal to:
$1107 + tax with Free Store Pick Up

Let me know if I screwed up anywhere, my second deal post. I hope this works because today they started to give 10% extra off instantly when added to cart. The terms read Buy now and save an extra 10% off. Online only! Select items. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Savings applied in cart. Select items. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Only applicable to items Sold by Sears Offer good through 10-Oct-2009. Not sure if this will void the rebate?

might be able to price match the price to $1299, because fry's has it available online for 1299 and it is available for shipping as of now.

How does this compare with the LG 55"?

trying to figure out if this is a Great Price item, if so, then the rebate won't work!

it's more like $1/line

just order mine! will see how it works

How do you get the Bing Cash Back? Does it show up while you are ordering or is it a mailin rebate? I'm confused on how you get Bing to work and know it worked.

Without comparing sizes, which TV is better? The 55" LG at Sears 55LH40 or this Sony? Which has a better picture? Also do these have glossy screens or matte?

nice gotta love it!

Has anybody received their Bing CB notification? It's been 48 hours and still not posted to my Bing acct?

The Sony has the matte finish.

I hope Sears.com bing Cash Back is 2-8% and not 10%. Anyway green for you.

bing is the new microsoft search engine like google. Instead, if you search and shop through there search engine, they give you CashBack in select online retailers. Go to www.bing.com and make an account first. Once you create an account, you can go to bing.com and search for, in this case, "Kenmore". At the first result at the top, it should show Sears website and a x% CashBack. Click on that link, then once on Sears website, search for this tv. Once you check out, bing will credit you that x% into your bing account and in about 2 months, you can cash it out.

Last TV I bought from Sears through bing took about 5 days to show up, but it did.

I'm trying to do this. When I search on bing, I get like 2-10%. How do I know that I'm getting 10%?

I went to the local store at Long Island area and ask to match the price from frys.com and get 10% discount by using Sears card. Eventually, I am able to get $1129 plus $97 tax as $1228. A little more than the deal coming from MS Bing.com and Sears.com rebate. But direct sale without any rebate or CashBack activitities which will ask for $1107 plus $116 tax in New York, equals to $1123.

I bought this TV through Bing about a week ago and it has not shown up in my account, not even in the pending activity. Has this worked for anyone else?

I asked Bing to take a look and they said that it was up to Sears to say "yeah" or "nay" to the CB. I would think that they would say "nay" in that case. Bing can't do anything about it but they sent my details to Sears. They said that Sears is the only store in their program that has this power of whether your purchase qualifies for any CB. Guess I may have to return the TV but I have Black Friday to buy another one.

It wasn't working for me. It took quite a few emails, and eventually I had to create a document with screenshots and walk through the purchase and explain to them that I did everything right, but their site was malfunctioning. I demonstrated how the Bing link on another store works.

For example, with Dell, you search for the store name, and then in the Sponsored ad section, you click "Bing CashBack" link and it prompts you to login and gives you a transaction id. If you do the same with Kenmore and click the Bing CashBack link, it takes you directly to the Sears store without the login, although you can see it do the sign-on to Sears. Since I was already logged into Bing.com, I had assumed that it still worked and it was associated with my ID. Since that ad link is in Sponsored Links, Bing is still getting credit and money from Sears, they are just missing the piece that associates the transaction with your account.

After dealing with many reps, I finally got my CashBack. I just linked them to this thread and the one on SD and told them that they're pulling this act of telling people they didn't "click correctly" on everyone. Don't give up!
