Sears has the Samsung WF219ANW DV219AEW Front Load washer and dryer set on sale for Columbus day.

Normally they are $849 each.

Right now the washer is $511.99 and the dryer is $543.99

The gas dryer is a bit more at $591.59 (normally $919)

Here are the links

I nearly went for the Amana set at Home Depot last night (also made by Samsung, but low end: smaller capacity, no Vibration Reduction, no on-board water heater and fewer options on the dryer as well).

I ordered this Samsung set today - to be delivered tomorrow. The Samsung pedestals are less expensive than the Amana ones, so that kept the overall price even closer.

Hope someone else in the market for a washer/dryer set finds this valuable.

I am very much in the market. Moving into our new house in November and the sellers are taking their's with them. I've been keeping a casual eye out for something and this does seem to be the best deal I've seen on FW yet, but I haven't really been researching yet.

Anybody else have thoughts? Should I jump on this or keep waiting another 2 weeks? This really looks like a fantastic deal. Great find OP. Thanks for sharing.

8% bing CashBack

Bing has it as 2-8%. How can you be sure it's 8%? In general in Bing, How do you find out what the CashBack %age is when it only indicates a range?

It looks like 2% right now. Tried several keywords that used to work.

Try "craftsman"

Sorry, I'm new to Bing CB. How does entering a keyword help? Are we looking for a link that gives the best CB to a store? Can we shop for a different product using that link?

Yes and yes

I also was looking at the Amana but after seeing this deal I think it is worth the extra $. the larger door and 4.0 cap is a big plus. I also signed up for a Sears card and received another 5% off and 6 month w no interest. You pay for delivery but there is a rebate to get you money back ($75 with pick up of old appliance).

Only question I have is how do these stack? The specs state that stacking depth is 49 inches. I can not find any information on how these install but 49 inches does not seem right. I did find one other spec that stated that the depth with door open is 49 inches. Maybe this is where the 49 inches came from?

Has anyone stacked these?

I got this pair on the black friday sale last year. My final cost was around 800 bucks after rebates. It was well worth it then, and have not had any problems what so ever. I never stacked these, just have them side by side.

If you are the impatient type and have a visa card you can get $25 off 300 or more at Sears by clicking HERE and going to the second page. Make 2 separate purchases to get $50 off!

Can someone tell me what are the equivalent Lowes item #?

Here is the deal, spoke to Lowes, they priced matched with Sears, Washer+Gas Dryer+install kit+Gas Line+Clamp comes to before tax 1157.02. I did not mention about 10% movers coupon, which I will try to use it tomorrow morning when I go to make payment. Hope it works out.

Thanks OP.!!!

There is also a $200 PG&E rebate for the washer at the Daly City, CA Sears location.

Now does anyone know of any state rebates or credits for IL or Chicagoland area?

Instead of Visa, use AMEX if you have it. $30 off $300. I would've linked but I think you have to log in to your account to get merchant offers.

Good luck with the PM and 10% off coupon.
I have consistently been shut down by trying that. I have had my eye on a grill that Lowes has on "sale" for $50 more and a couple of my local retailers REGULAR PRICE. I went at the end of the day and was buying other accessories and they still shut me down over $25... they lost a $300+ sale over $25. I wonder why their stock is plummeting? PLEASE let us know if you are successful.

I am worried too about not able to use 10% off coupon.

Does anyone have tips on getting the coupon successfully used? Like buy some other additional items just for the sake of coupon and then return it?

I have the 218 version of these, stacked. love them.
49 is to open the door.
4.9mb user manual for the 219 can be found on this page

Looking to price match at lowes but can't seem to find the same model. Closest I can see is the WF209ANW. Maybe the 219 is available at Lowes B&M ?

Good find OP. Fantastic washer dryer pair. I bought similar (identical?) Samsungs from Lowes last BF for $999 w/ 1 yr no-interest financing.

Not only 30 off 300, but you also add another year of warranty by using AMEX.

See next post, forgot to quote, sorry

Thx for the reply. Do these stack directly on top of each other so that the rear panels line up? the display at Sears had the dryer about 3 inches farther back than the washer.

thx again

Bummer. I have 4 years old washer and dryer not the front loader. Washer broke and fixed it and spent $250. Now it's working. Should I buy this? Can I sell old model?

Lowes has the 218 model - which is essentially the same except for one feature as far as I can tell (the two models share the same operator's manual so they are functionally the same).

The only difference I can see is that the 219 has Samsung's "diamond tub" which is a different wash tub with smaller holes and a diamond pattern in the surface. This is supposed to be a bit better as far as wear and tear on the clothes during the high-speed spin cycle that FL washers use.

u can ship the washer to me and pay me $100 kaun kharidega tera purana washer? maybe u can use it during the cash for appliance sale?

It is not online on Lowes, just call the store and they will be able to find the similar model. I was able to do that just fine.

That was my thinking when I bought a camera on my AMEX last year.

They only gave me 90 days. . . seems they have changed their automatic extended warranties. I think it depends on what card you have. Check with them before you rely on that.

If they only gave you 90 days, the original manufacturer's must have only been 90? I've actually had to use it twice for 2 separate appliances that have gone past their 1 year date. I was VERY skeptical even just trying to use it but it was surprising painless. I have the Blue Cash card.

I am seeing bing 8% off.

Do I have to use paypal to get this?

If not, I plan on using a Sears card. If I apply for a card, can I use it right away or have to wait for it to come in the mail?

I used the bing 8% cb link. But I messed up on the Sears card. I applied, got approved and then lost the link (closed the window).

Make sure apply for the Sears card on checkout and use that link they give you. If not there's no way to use the Sears card for purchase, unless you go to the store or want to wait till it arrives.

For the bing cb, I did not see a popup window like fatwallet CB. I don't see the transaction as pending in bing either. Is that typical or did I mess up that too?

I did the same thing with the Sears card application - lost the window and link to shop today. I had totally forgotten about Bing for Sears so I just went in to the store and did the order.

The washer and dryer arrived this morning at about 9:30 - I finished installing them on the pedestals and in place by about noon (after 2 runs to the hardware store for stuff I forgot or didn't realize I would need!).

Ran a first load of mixed towels and jeans - the washer does a GREAT job extracting water from clothes when you use the high spin speed - they should be dry in under 40 minutes.

Second load is going now - large, puffy king size comforter that would never fit in our old washer - the Samsung swallowed it without a problem.

I'm very pleased with this set - hope everyone else is too.

Can you please share what extra components (hoses?) you needed to get these up and running? Thanks!

Comparing this one with the LG 4.0 washer WM0642HW I ordered a couple weeks ago from Home Depot. Got that one for $583.2 before tax but now as I added this one in the cart, I found delivery kills the deal.

Subtotal: $ 511.99
Est. Delivery: $ 65.00

Sure.

First, I had to get longer supply hoses. The ones that come with the washer are standard length (either 36 or 48 inches - I didn't measure) which is plenty long enough for modern houses with the supply/drain box in the wall of the laundry area - but our house is older and we have a laundry tub with the supply hose connectors under the tub where the water comes out of the wall for the faucet. I had 48" braided steel hoses that worked fine on the old washer - but I didn't factor in the pedestal, and they were just too short to reach. A pair of 72" long hoses and I have plenty of room to maneuver now.

Second - for the dryer, I had a standard vent kit already (you need to have one - and you should replace it along with the dryer, but I had just replaced mine within the last year, so I decided to reuse it as there was NO lint residue collected in the vent). I have the gas dryer, and I had picked up a new flexible supply hose (you really should replace this each time you disconnect the line - they aren't made to be reused). Two problems with the line I had - 1. The Samsung gas connection is on the back right (as you face from the front of the machine) instead of the back left like my old frigidaire - so I needed a longer supply hose in order to have enough room to maneuver again. 2. The Samsung has a 3/8 in male threaded connector - I needed to pickup a 3/8 inch femaale to 1/2" flared connector that I hadn't planned on.

No problems really - just a bit unexpected.

Everything went together fine and all's working well now.

Sears charges $65 either for one appliance or for both - so that lessens the impact if you are getting the pair. Also, if you are not interested in 12 months no interest financing on the Sears card, you can get the delivery/haul away fee back in a rebate.

I got these over a year ago, and I love them.

Can someone explain how you get your money back on delivery (from Sears) like one poster mentioned?

Thx

I would love these, but I need 24 mo 0% given my other projects already initiated Guess I'll wait, but uber green still.

Nevermind, they're up to $1530 for the pair now.
