I was checking the latest prices for this monitor and found this monitor was selling for $40 off regular $289 price. Granted it's not as good a deal as previous deals for this monitor but it might be enough for some (like me). The "instant savings" link said "limited time offer" and offered no expiration date. Also comes with "3Yr PREMIUM PANEL Ltd. Warranty, 3 yr Advanced Exchange".
I have three of these monitors and I am very happy with their quality. This is higher than what I paid for any of them but still a decent deal if you are in the market for a good IPS panel.

Update Wed, 10/14: My new Dell Monitor arrived today. Ordered Sunday and arrived Wednesday, even with the free shipping option...can't beat that. I've set it up and so far so good. I was somewhat concerned that the resolution size fonts might be too small but that was not the case. I did research resolution size beforehand but until I got it and set it up, this was a concern for me. Manufacture Date is Sept'09 and A01 version from China. I also noticed the sale link is still offering the same $249 price so perhaps that's the "new" price?
secstate, I can see why you have three of the 2209WA's. Perhaps if there's another sale later this year or next, I may be in the market for a 2nd one too.
