Spent a while pricing RAM out today and I THINK I got a smoking deal. It's basically the going rate for 4GB of dual channel BUT has a $20 rebate. Could not find cheaper pricing. Enjoy!
Is the price of those 2x2GB RAM (DDR2-800 or PC2-6400) jacking up high? I believe that we used to have deal for this type of memory around $20 or $25 before, some even $15 AR too, and now, it seems too expensive.

I know what you mean. Not too long ago, we were getting this stuff for $20 AR in the desktop OR the laptop version for 4GB. I wish I had purchased more back then as I'm amazed at the prices these days.
I purchased eight Gigs of these last year and they have worked flawlessly! I thought about grabbing some for back up in case one of my sticks dies, but they say they are life time warrantee.

Corsairs warranty is great. I've had 1 stick go bad and 2 of their 1st gen flash drives die on me. Two of the times I sent the items in I received twice the memory I had before. My ram was 512 when I sent it in, they sent me a 1GB kit back, flash drive was 4GB they sent a 8GB back. Love their warranty!

Griffey,
I have never had any of my Corsair components go bad. It is comforting to know that if something does go south, Corsair will be there for me to make things right.
Thanks panm. My Corsair came back bad (fails memcheck). Mine was the last package at local Frys + 3 other Frys within driving distance were sold out. Package was previously opened, so use more caution than I did.
And thread is about Frys DDR2 DIMM, not SO-DIMM. SO-DIMM is a little cheaper these days.
