ugh damn you in store pickup

fyi - this card doesn't have HDMI

I want to get a graphics card but don't know anything about the market. This seems like a great price but can anyone give some context? Thanks.

another FYI - tomorrow we should see release of newer ATI 5770 / 5750
yes, price would start from $109+
but, faster cards and with DX11

if you don't care about DX11 than this 5750 for $40 AR is very good price
but, absence of HDMI kills it usage in HTPC - IMHO

So you're saying that the new ATI 57xx cards, at a minimum cost of 172% more than the 4650 that's the subject of this thread, will perform better?

yes, 5750 will be way faster and might use even less power due to 40nm vs 55nm for 4650
the point is OP card is DX10.1 and 5750 is DX11
yes, at lunch it will cost 3x more then OP card

another point is - why to pay for this 4650?
for games? look for 4850 AR
for htpc? no HDMI. 4650 with hdmi cost about $70.
whole point for 46xx was to get 8ch audio over hdmi
