500gb'er (20.05kB)
Disclaimer

<EDIT> Dell raised the price from 65.00 to 69.99...still a good deal.
Starting Price $109.99
Instant Savings $40.00
Subtotal $69.99

Use bing.com for an additional 5% savings, bring price to $66.49 shipped.

I posted this same product some time back, but it was $79, this deal needed a good "bump" now that is only $65.00. Special thanks to HoStar!

500 GB 2.5" power external HDD

What's the trick to getting 10% CashBack to show up at bing? Are you sure it's still 10%?

Thanks! It let me choose 2nd day shipping and it took off $12.99 so free 2nd day shipping it seems. $69.55 after Tampa,FL tax.

Shipping & Handling $12.99
Shipping & Handling Discount -$12.99
Tax* $4.55
Total Price $69.55

Oh yea, I only saw %5 right now on bing unless there is a special search term floating around. Searching just Dell only gave %5 this time

went to bing, now it's $69.00

Yep, price went up -- gotta love Dell.
Starting Price $109.99
Instant Savings $40.99
Subtotal $69.00

this thing is not pocket sized?

Depends on the size of your pocket. It's a 2.5" drive in there and powered by USB (no extra power source needed) so it's a "portable" drive.

I bought this last week when it was $80 + free 2day shipping (used 10% bing) Wish Dell had price protection =(

This is bigger than the Western Digital Passport series.

$69 plus CA tax minus 5% bing is ~$72. I'd rather buy the 500GB simpletech drive from Amazon for $79.99 since that one has a 3yr warranty while this one only has a 1yr warranty. The Simpetech one was only $76 a couple of weeks ago.

how you guys going through Bing.com? I can' find Dell on Bing.

just search on bing.com search engine for "Dell" or "inspiron" or something like that and try to get a Dell sponsored link, which should be at the top of your search results.

lorenzolama said: how you guys going through Bing.com? I can' find Dell on Bing. Go here http://www.bing.com/shopping/search?q=dell&go=&form=QBRE&scope=cashback

you will see on the right side of the page "Dell.com - Official Site" click on "Bing CashBack"

thank you Yuyak and MysticMan1

looks like Dell CB is 5% now

lorenzolama said: looks like Dell CB is 5% now
Yep, that's what I see too. Too bad.

Never mind, finally figured out how to get bunghole CB for Dell SB. You need to click on the "business" link after the CB redirect.

HikerT said: Meh, still can't get Dell SB to show any CB on bunghole. The 5% CB is for Dell home (not Dell SB).
Nope. If you go through the link and look at the fine print it says:
"Offer applies to online purchases from Dell Home & Home Office and Small & Medium Business online stores on this visit only."

I got it as:
Sub-total $69.99
Shipping & Handling $12.99
Shipping & Handling Discount -$12.99
Tax* $4.20
Total Price= $74.19 - 5%(69.99) = $70.5

Just got mine, opened it, and it looks good, WD5000BEVT in there. No glues or any of that nonsense to try and prevent you from using it on your laptop. Gonna swap it with the one in my laptop (200gb) to have the 500gb available all the time and 200gb in the enclosure
