this is the prime model of the 9600 gso (aka 8800gs)
not the cheap and slow GDDR2 memory and 48 SP model that are common these days

I personally have the 384 mb version of this card
and I can run the latest game I acquired (need for speed: shift) just fine ~40 FPS @ 1680 * 1050 with high settings

I don't see this as a deal. You can get this decent 9600 gso with 512mb of ram and 96 steam processors for $40AR.

in addition to more ram the bandwidth is 192 instead of 128

Surprisingly the price is stable since last year. I bought this for $40 after MIR last year.

This is the 196-bit 96sp version which overclocks

to 9800GT performance easy. $40 is about right

$60 is too much. I have the Asus 9600GSO 192-bit

384MB runs 700/1750/2133 OC'd which was $30 AR FS.

Bests the HD 4670 by a small margin at stock speeds.

Newegg.com has an MSI R4670-MD1G Radeon HD 4670 1GB

128-bit GDDR3 for $40 AR FS.
