actually Netflix's HD is nowhere near full HD. But Netflix is one of the main streaming sources someone would use with this "networked" blu-ray player... so wifi is totally valid... but agreed it's not "full HD" like 1080p, etc.
Be very careful ordering from 6th ave. I have been fighting with them over a credit for 3 months. They picked up the set that arrived broken. They then sent a second set that arrived with holes in the box from a fork lift. We refused and they accepted return. Now, after 3 months, I am forced to ask my credit card company to charge back. 11 calls, 11 promises of a credit. None kept. Never again with this seller!!

As should be obvious by now - Buyer beware when you buy from the cheapest priced merchant that also happens to be a New York city Photo/electronics shop. There are a lot of them, and many are questionable and/or unreliable.
