A word of warning (if you wax your car). The soap leaves a non visible residue. I used it once and my wax/sealant stopped beading/sheeting. A few washes with regular car soap did not remove the residue and ended up clay barring to get it off.

That is why do not use the soap that come with the kit and use your own soap that is compatible with your wax. I only use it for the filtered water so i don't have to dry my car. overall, i am impressed with the product. i could use a compressor a buy a bottle of distill water from WalMart for a buck and it would be better than this so call autodry and probably cheaper too.

In your opinion, does it work well?
I guess U got threw off by the "Does not strip wax".
No, its still the same price. OP has THREE for $10.97. Its still $10.97 for 3: You want three Mr. Clean AutoDry Carwash System
You want 3 Proctor & Gamble 95158035 Mr. Clean Auto-Dry Carwash System (s). which each cost $1.99 for a subtotal of $5.97 plus shipping $5.00 for a total of $10.97
I think the reason why this Mr. Clean Autodry Car Wash system is so cheap, clearance everywhere is because they are trying to find people to franchise their Mr. Clean car wash business. So they do not have to compete with their own product.
i am not a big fan of this product. I bought it next day when they launched it in market for $15 and I was not impressed with the results. My car was still dirty.

damn i want one but we're not allowed to wash cars on the street here

Definitely not a single use cartridge, but the number of rinses will vary GREATLY depending on your water conditions. I use municipal water that is conditioned by a Kinetico water softener. I get at least 20-25 uses out of a filter cartridge. Expect no more than 10 uses if your water is hard, even less if you use well water.
