Coupon may not last long, as it may be meant for purchase of Win7 with hardware. There another coupon for $100 off Windows 7 Professional Upgrade, but at least for me, that coupon won't work for the purchase of Win7 Pro alone.
Edit: Coupon isn't working now, as people below have said.

Plus there is the fun of getting a deal you're really not supposed to get

In for one.... fingers crossed. I guess I didn't believe the pre-order was really going to end when it did - I expected some sort of promo to follow.
Funny (odd) part of this promotion is that here it is, the 21st of October and Windows 7 computers will officially be out on display tomorrow. Since most computers have Vista Home Premium, which qualifies for a free upgrade - why would staplers run this promo "with purchase of a PC"? My guess is as an incentive to buy the cheapie machines with Vista Home Basic, but those PCs would be on a the clearance table marked way down.
My REAL guess is that this is their way of moving the upgrades at the pre-order price and saying "gosh darnit - we goofed and shipped all those copies... oh well"
*Coupon code Coupon Not Yet Valid. We're sorry, but the coupon you are trying to use is not yet valid. Please save your coupon for later use.

Does not work for me. "Not yet available" I was wondering what is the difference between 'regular ver" and "upgrade ver." ? Can I install this over a very crappy Vista Home?

regular is say when you are building your own computer and need to instal the OS, or if u do one of them Dell deals for a server, the computers come with no operating systems.. Plus its good to have around for clean installs after ur comp gets all gunked up ..ewweee
