This is likely a regional offer. People in Pittsburgh may have recently received a 12 months of free HBO which could only be redeemed by the people in this area. I redeemed it.

Currently getting HBO and Starz for free, used the online chat tool. The rep first said Starz was only in my area, but I said the promo said Showtime too. He took about 10 minutes and finally got it. So now I got all three for free...thanks OP!

if you want a hint on how to get stuff cheap or free just keep going to www.comcast.com and keep going into chat....

Full cable with digital with the DVR + HBO 2 year contract ... first year 44.99 second year 54.99

Showtime 1 year at 2.00 per month

Starz free for one year

Cinamax free forever (dont know what the chat person did but somehow we are getting free cinamax called to make sure and people over the phone confirmed it is free till we cancell

so that is full digtial cable with Hbo showtime and cinmax. for 47.99 with the dvr...

high speed internet could either got
6.0 for 19.99 for 6 months
or
8.0 for 29.99 for 12 months

phone got unlimited long distance for 14.99 per month for 12 months 24.99 per month for the 2nd year

so
cable + phone + net first year 82.99 second year 102.99 cant pass that up at all.... and im sure once my showtime and starz promo expires they will toss me another one (i havent paid for starz in 3 years)

ended up with 12 months for $12...not a bad deal...not as good as free for 6 months...but not bad!

Chatted online with a rep, was actually trying to get free HBO but was offered a year of free Starz instead (with a $1.99 activation fee). Activated immediately. Not a bad deal. Zip code 46037.
