All over this deal! Only downside to the monitors are the fact that it has DVI-D input, not HDMI. Not a problem for me; all you have to do is get HDMI to DVI adapters / cables. In for two for a dual monitor setup for my online poker machine! 12 tables, here I come!
i can make some guesses as to the build quality, though. the model no is VA2223wm, ie one of the 1080p-capable units from viewsonic's budget series of lcds. reviews on Newegg and Amazon are pretty positive about other units in the same series, so im guessing this is pretty good (for the money). the viewing angle and sharpness won't be as nice as on a $300 22", but it should be awesome for movies and videogames..

It has no remote control of its own and needs a separate audio input, so you'll have to turn it on and off manually, your cable box needs to have the right audio output or an adapter, and you'll need to adjust the volume from the cable box or manually at the monitor. Not all of the cable boxes can do that.
Am I out of touch or does this seem really cheap? People are expect LCD TV's this year for $125? I vaguely remember last Black Friday, it sucked IIRC. I had to jump on this one, the last screen I got this size was $300. Green.

You mean the absolute worst resolution (1920x1080 / 16:9) for typical PC use?
