I'm on vacay right now. I'll assume I can just purchase it online and pick it up Monday when I get back at this price.
If I don't have a Sears card, can I just apply for one to get the 10% off? i'd hate to sign up for the card and not get the 10%
^question asked/answered on SD board. someone called they said you wouldnt get 10% unless you had physical card. only way is to go into B&M.
edit: Guess I could use my AMEX, lose the 10% but get the 2yr warranty. This TV is replacing the BB halo 720p samsung, which has had 1 dot/pixel 4 weeks ago. But has exponentially expanded to a hundred or so now.
Does anyone know whether one will get extended warranty (2yrs total) *and* 10% off if one uses the Sears Gold Mastercard? This is a Citi card and, according to the info on the web for gold cards it appears that you should get the warranty.
You will not be able to get $103 as bing Cash Back. After deduction of 10% from Sears card, the total will be 1299-130(Sears Card discount) = 1169 - 93.52(Bing Cash Back) = 1075.48
Anyone know if you can still receive the 10% off Sears card discount if you only use the card for the balance of the purchase price after using say about $800 of gift cards?

You can but you have to do it in store. Some associates won't do it, but it can be done. I'm a TV salesman there and I know it can be done. You can also use up to five gift cards on one transaction I believe, if this is the case, just have an associate combine them into 1 $500 gift card and 1 $300 gift card.
If the person is new then ask them to swipe the gift card at the payment selection screen. Gift Card is NOT an option on their screen if you chose the Sears Card, but when you swipe a gift card it goes through. That is, unless they changed it in the past month which was the last time I did this.
Also, it should be noted, if you don't want the 10% off with a Sears card, you can get 24 Months of No Interest financing. But please note, the total MUST be paid off before the 24 months is over, otherwise they hit you with the entire interest for the 24 months.
Also, if you don't already have a Sears card you can go into the store and get one, and if you buy the TV the same day then you can get both the 10% off and 6 Months of No Interest/No Payment financing. That is the same deal as the 24 Month deal, but you don't have to make a payment every month and it won't hurt your credit. But if its not paid off in the 6 months then you will get hit with the 6 months worth of interest.
Please note: If you want the 10% and 6 Months financing deal and you already have a Sears card check which one you have. There are 3 different Sears cards which can be opened to get this deal. The Regular Sears Card (Dark Blue), the Sears Gold Mastercard (Gold), and the Sears Charge Plus Card (light blue). For those that don't know, the Sears Charge Plus is a regular Sears Card but with a higher credit limit, and lower minimum payments. It can only be used in Appliances, Electronics, and Jewelery (Over $200).
Edit: Apparently I posted this too late haha, but the website still shows $1299.99 (until you put it in the cart) print this out, make sure it is timestamped and talk to the manager about it, they may be able to still offer you the deal. No promises on that though.

question for you because you seem very helpful and knowledgeable...
if we buy the service plan 3yr=$480, and decide to cancel, do I really have up to 1year to cancel without ANY penalty? Meaning, I get back 100% of that $480 if I cancel before 12months? And, how long does it take you guys to get your commission? (6mos?)
