Who knows what S to XXL means? They have no reference to chest size or anything. Fail

No specific sizing info, however all three descriptions state "NOTE ON SIZING: This jacket is a full cut from the factory and you may want to consider a size down if your usual size is roomy."

Because it is a concealed carry coat. We want to keep the discussion on topic whenever we have firearms-related deals. Thank you for pointing out that we had not posted that the thread was under moderation or why.

I have one of these jackets, 3/4 length. I routinely carry a S&W M&P 45 in it.
No problem with size of the weapon. You can even carry a set of steak knives it there with it.
This a style of jacket widely known as a barn coat made with slight variation in style and fit.
Hundreds if not thousands of manufacturers make them, and are sold through countless retailers
and re-branders. Most fit like a tent with arms and pockets. The Sig Sauer line is well tailored
It is better fit(perhaps it would be best described as an "athletic fit") than those seen at
the local goofy-Mart. Similar in quality to a barn coat Columbia sold a few years ago.
Way better fit and made than the ones re-badged at Timberland. And, I ust wouldn't buy anything
more from a tree-hugging, socialist, nanny-state company like Timberland. I have a sweatshirt
from them, and whenever I put it on, I uncontrollably start singing Kumbaya. Not good for
plain clothes work. But I digress. The Columbia jacket had no side-oriented pocket on the chest.

Best jacket with a chest pocket with a horizontal access was a similarly designed one that
was marketed by Remington. Two major problems though:

1. Remington, while making excellent firearms, has never been able to decide if it wants to
truly be involved with selling clothing. This resulted in poor distribution and availability.
Perhaps no one told the Remington board that the rag business is wholly different than the
firearm business, Sometimes, it's not all about numbers.

2. The jacket, while well made, had terrible sizing problems. Sleeves were too narrow,
Neck too big. Pocket openings were too small, hard to reach into quickly.
Generally the overall size was adequate (an XL was an XL)but the details fell off the bus
somewhere along the line. If it happened to fit you in all those areas, you had a great jacket.
If not, no recourse. Remington dropped it clothing line before any improvements came to market.

The picture on the Sig website is a bit misleading. It shows the weapon being drawn in a
horizontal orientation. While a large frame, loaded weapon will come out of the pocket opening
horizontally, the gun will ride inside the pocket vertically, with the muzzle down.
This kind of jacket allows for a carry style similar to that of a shoulder holster. Shoulder
rigs offer either a vertical or horizontal orientation. Some rigs allow adjustment from
one orientation to the other. Most don't, you select one or the other. You pays yer money,
and you takes yer choice. With this jacket, it basically defaults to veritcal orientation.

All in all, a good deal on a better than average jacket. I just ordered another.

Is there a list?
