200-50(instant)-50(Rebate)-30(Coupon)=70 [plus cost of coupon]

Now-a-days Staples gives you an option of choosing between Visa Rebate Card/Check/Staples Gift Card while submitting Easy Rebate online.

Nice find OP, any pointers on finding the $30 off $150 coupon would be appreciated.

Thanks

Why choose the Staples Gift Card? You can use the VISA anywhere, including at Staples.

Same question, where to find the coupon, thanks!

Try the SDer Club (but you didn't hear it here).

$129 out the door
+ $6 for the 30 off 150 coupon
=135

now i need to mail in the rebate for a total of $85. i had an older, similar model i think i can sell for $30-$40

thanks OP

only comes with "starter" toner, not standard toner.

Yes,

But you can refill it with bulk toner. I just ordered 2 refills for 40 bucks - and $10 of that was shipping. Once I get the instructions to refill - my next refills will be eBay and cost even less.

Overall - I really like my printer ( MFC - 7420 looks the same as the 7340 visually ). Only thing missing is 2 sided printing - but you have the option to print odd / even pages if you want to do it manually.

Network Ready No

I've got a 7420 and am considering getting one of these 7430's for my office, but want to know from anyone who owns a 7340, how is the envelope handling? The 7420 is abyssmal with envelopes - the manual feeder pulls sidways as well as vertically, so envelopes feed in crooked most of the time and the guides for the manual feed simply slide apart and do not keep it going straight.

Looks like the 7340 takes different toner cartridges and perhaps different toner altogether from the 7420 and would be a bit more expensive than the toner refills for the 7420's TN350 cartridge on eBay, maybe $22 for two TN360 toner refills versus $17 or so for a two-pack of refills for the TN350.

$199 - $50(instant) =$149
$150 -$30 = $120 than how are you calculating $70?

There is also a $50 rebate, listed on the top left of the price section. It says "Plus $50 Prepaid VISA card ".

Thanks, fixed the wording:

$200 - $50 Instant Savings - $50 Easy Rebate - $30 off $150 Coupon = $70 (+ cost of filler, coupon, and tax.)

Very tempted, but I'd pass until i get another good deal for the wireless networking ones.

Great deal but I have to control my pocket. Wait for the black friday.
Dont forget add it up CashBack from bank of america for 2-4%.
Thank you anyway.

I got this same deal a couple months ago. Great to have a laser MFC and not an inkjet because of ink costs. The copy function on the printer is excellent, warms up within 5 seconds. Fax worked well too- only used once manually. I use only the standalone copy and fax functions (and not print or scanning, as I have a small Konica laser printer as my main printer.)--so I didn't have to add the large scan programs. ADF is a plus; lack of wireless is a minus, but great price for a laser MFC.

Someone gratefully gave me a code for the $30 off $150. Staples CSR will enter code at checkout.
Good find OP.

I just bought this printer yesterday at my local Staples. I Pricematched to Amazon ($129.95). Then, I applied the 10% off in-store coupon I got. $149.95 - $20 (Amazon PM) - $8 (10% off) - $50 rebate = $71.95 +tax.

The cashier and I could not figure out why the computer was only giving $8 off with the 10% discount. Turns out, the computer 'knows' you're entitled for another $50 rebate, and gives you 10% off the NET price, which would be $80.

Even better like this
$200 - $50 Instant Savings - $50 Easy Rebate - $25 off $75 Coupon - 12(10% off coupon in flyer) = $63 (+ coupon, and tax.)
Need to pay at register in Staples...

Need to pay at register in Staples...

Can we do this?

$200 - $50 Instant Savings - $15(10% off coupon in flyer) - $25 off $75 Coupon = $110(+ coupon, and tax.)? - $50 Easy Rebate

or

$200 - $20(10% off coupon in flyer) - $50 Instant Savings - $25 off $75 Coupon = $105(+ coupon, and tax.)? - $50 Easy Rebate

Sad part we pay Tax on $50 Rebate, pay Tax again when we use it. Double Tax.

You can in store if they cooperate. They may or may not allow you to stack coupons, it depends on who rings you up at the cash register.\.

I just got a $30 off $150 coupon code off eBay for $2.10. Ordered the printer and it worked just fine.

Blossoms said: Could someone please message me the coupon code for the $30 off of $150? I've looked everywhere and can't find it. Thank you so much!

If you don't already have one, you have to buy it from ejunkie or SD Club.

Ok here is what I got.
Drove to the fist store and found the last one was just sold.
Drove to the second store and found the last one. First asked if they price match to Amazon. The answer is no.
Applied 10% coupon.
Handing over the 25 off 75 coupon, but the other cashier said coupons are not stackable.
OK. Told them I want to choose the $25 off coupon.
Cashier called manager to void the 10% coupon.
Manager came and read my $25 off coupon very carefully and then told me I bought this coupon but it is not valid in store.
When I pointed to him it is an in store coupon, he told me the e-junkie guy changed the terms then sold to me.
What a crap!
Came back and placed the order online.
Total cost:
199.98-50(instant discount)-25(e-junkie coupon)+10.31(tax)-50(rebate)+3.96(coupon cost)+2.5(gas for 22 miles)
=91.75

Not an exciting deal, but still OK. Was looking for a leaser AIO for a while.

Thanks much. I found one on eBay. I'm kind of new at this, so I didn't know where to look.

I'm glad you found one. It's a very nice AIO for the price.

Arrgghhh... if I could just find a good deal on a laser, wireless, duplex printer.

In for one...bought a ejunkie coupon for the first time as well for $1.88...Thank you OP!

Just hope the printer is ok...We have such bad luck with printers, they always end up having problems..
Have gone through 3 printers in the past 2 years..Two Epson AIO inkjets (Don't ever buy an Epson!), one Canon..

Any recommendations for a printer cable for this printer? I need to connect a macbook to the MFC-7340. I found this

http://www.microbarn.com/details.aspx?rid=100884&source=shopzilla

It's a 15ft USB 2.0 Device/Printer Cable A/M to B/M manufactured by Bergtek and sold by Microbarn. Costs $2.89 for cable & USPS shipping is 3.99 for total of $6.88. Any one have prior experience with Bergtek & Microbarn. Staples charges $17.99 for a 6' silver cable for this printer.

how about the cheapest one you can buy from monoprice.com. they ALL do the same thing.

i have 3 brother AIO and 2 separate brother lasers. they are awesome. i won't buy anything else besides brother.

The coupon did not go through. Had to call customer service to get it applied! Also don't forget 2% ebates or 1% FatCash.

Can I use this one on my wired Network Print Server?

Anybody Tried that?

$6 for coupon is too much. You should try e-junkie.

that's where i got it from. it was my first EJ purchase, and i figured i paid too much, but the savings was still worth it for me.

It's back to $200 now.
