Amazon has Brown Family Farm Gift Box, 8-Ounce Pure Maple Syrup & 24-Ounce Buttermilk Pancake Mix listed for $14.05. Use code BASCOM35 for 35% off, and get another 15% off the list price by purchasing through Subscribe & Save, for a total of $7.02. The code is good through 10/31.

You can get 50% off all Brown Family Farm items (mostly multi packs of syrup and pancake mix) this way, but I found this item the most compelling.

Even though this has been available for ~2 months, it is nice to be reminded the deal is still on. Green.

I only had one person in mind who'd appreciate an item like this as a gift, and I wanted to ship direct to them, so I thought this was a great deal. But I completely agree that for personal use or if you want to make your own "gift sets" you could do quite well with some of the other items.

Staying with the gift discussion, it's not easy to come across a sub-$10 gift that not only does not look cheap, but is also unusual and appreciated. I personally don't use syrup, but would surely still be pleased with such a gift.
