Oprah has been announcing since last week that she will be offering a mystery 50% off deal tomorrow (10-29-09). Today, word has leaked that on tomorrow's show she and guest Christian Siriano will offer a coupon for 50% off of everything at Payless Shoe Source (possibly for up to 15 items).
Since the coupon will only be good for one day (technically a day and a half) and will not be released/posted on oprah.com until after tomorrow's show, I wanted to give folks as much advance warning as possible so that they don't miss this deal if they want it. As soon as I have a direct link to the coupon I will post it. I'm guessing that the coupon will be available by noon tomorrow and that there will be a link on the webpage for tomorrow's show topic.

Go to todays show topic and click the "Payless Coupon" link, or print coupon directly. Note that no limit is placed on the number of items that can be purchased.

Yes, the coupon code will be good for a one time purchase of up to 15 items on Thurs and Friday only. The only things not included are Unforgettable Moments (dyeable shoes), Gift Cards, and the Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelets. There will be an option to text "oprah" to 242424 on Thursday after the Oprah show airs to receive the coupon code.

MISURICK, The problem is not with the links... they work. If the direct links didn't do the trick for you, have you tried going through the show topic link in the OP? Have you tried clearing cookies or opening the link in a different browser (if not another computer)? If you can't get it to work, feel free to PM me your email addy and I'll be happy send the coupon to you as an attachment.
Worked fine at my store (the store orginally said it would not take the coupon till after oprah had aired in our area which is 4pm but changed its mind and honored early. No limit, and everything was 50% off. The staff was very helpful and encouraged customers to text and get the coupon. Very plesant shopping trip!

Just got back from my local store here in San Diego. I was the first one to bring in a coupon. Clerk had to ask the manager if they could take them before the show aired and he said yeah, it just had to be after 10am eastern time per what he was told. Got a pair of moccocins for halloween for around $8,they were on sale down from $22.99 to $14.99 then 50%. Thanks!!!
LOL, I was thinking about the defunct PaylessDrugstore chain until I read the deal description. I believe that there are still some businesses with Payless in their name. OP, you might add "Shoe Source" to the title.
This is totally awesome. I got like 1 pair of kid's shoes and one pair of boots for myself, 2 packs of shoes laces, scarf, shoe pad, 2 pack of kids socks (6 in a pack). Total was $92.72 and after the 50% it went down to $50.19! Thanks!
What a zoo. My wife stood in line for over an hour at our local Payless. Hardly worth it. The employees said it was worse than black friday! Only two employees in the store and one register. The line went around the whole interior perimeter of the store, and the shelves were empty. There were people spending hundreds of dollars on shoes (after the half off). There must be a lot of FW people around here or they love Oprah...yuck!
