I don't know their new stuff, but my inexpensive Jamo 505E from '97 (100W, 12") is a beast. I have broken some of my mother's crystal glasses (from rocking in a cupboard located at the opposite side of a 500+sqft room), had nails holding paintings come off etc... In retrospect it wasn't that inexpensive
This one here is smaller so your stuff might survive, but I assume the Danes did not forget how to make good subs.
Thanks for the headsup, op. it was $199 just a few days ago. I'd been eyeing Vanns.com ever since my sub's amp croaked 3 months ago and learned from the avsforum Jamo thread that Vann's b&m was selling this sub for $149. One guy bought one at b&m and like it so much he got a second one since it's a smokin deal at 149.
I was planning on getting the amp repaired because I hate to see the sub go to waste since the woofer and cabinet is still good. Another reason is money is tight cuz work's been slow as sh*t this month. But 149 for this sub is temptation with a capital T. It's powered by a 212 watts rms BASH amp and can get down to 28 Hz, meaning it will rattle the windows and then some. My finger is getting real itchy.

There are hardly any reviews to be found. Here's one from the avsforum Jamo thread...
"Received the Jamo sub on Friday and got it all set up and ran it through its paces Friday night. Very impressed with the bass levels, it gets the job done for my theater and use. I also really like the way it looks. I watched the Transformers HD DVD and it nailed the bass, during the opening helicopter sequences, you could feel the bass. My theater is now complete, it is amazing the difference adding a sub makes, even my wife noted how this was more like being at the theater. Really glad I pulled the trigger on this sub at 1/3 the price of others subs i was looking at it, I have no regrets and feel like I couldn't have done much better for my purposes going with the more expensive subs."
