I'm thrilled at this offer coz I've to buy an expensive text book. but when I log onto Borders' website and found out the price of the book is twice more expensive than Amazon, not alone other online book sellers. isn't that great to raise the price 200% then give us a 40% off?

Thanks for the coupon. I usually find Amazon cheaper even with this coupon (especially considering the lack of tax). But you can certainly find a deal when you have this coupon. Also, note the item is 40% off any ITEM, not just books!

good point, danpeake.

The best use of coupons like these is for purchasing anthologies (i.e., Lord of the Rings, Eragon, Narnia, etc.) that are bundled together and sold as one item. 40% off a $40+ item really makes a dent on the final purchase price.

Something strange happens when I click on the OP's link. It takes me to a 40% off Borders coupon. At the top right of the page it says PRINT and it says only your coupon will print, but when I click on that print button the coupon prints the screen. It doesn't print a generated coupon like I am used to seeing and at the bottom of the coupon is an advertisement for 1-800-Flowers.com. Do you think they will take this at a Borders store? I am a Borders Rewards member. How does a Rewards member get the coupon? I was not e-mailed it. Is the coupon code unique or can it be used over and over?

will they pricematch Amaazon? The prices at borders are so ridiculous that even 40% off comes out to be more, lol.

@Mr.Vietnam, it's your browser trying to print the frame that the ad is in since it's the last thing that loaded. Are you using Internet Explorer?

What you should try doing is clicking in the main window somewhere, then going to file -> print and make sure you don't have "only the selected frame" selected.

Anyone know if I can use it more than once? I have two books I want to buy..

You can't use it more than once, at least not with the same rewards account.
Here is another Coupon code. I used the original posters linked code plus this one from the site (BSA6773F)
and inn two transactions with the same rewqards account it worked both times.

Of course there is only about 20 minutes left at this point.

I used the same coupon twice. Once in store and once online for in-store pickup. I did this to make sure the code would work before standing in line and getting rejected.

Anyway, I suspect that you can use the same coupon multiple times during the same period (on separate items).

I used the coupon 9 times (4 last week, all shipped; and 5 yesterday) with in-store pickup.
Each time I checked out as guest, then linked the order to my existing account so that I can track it online. 8 out of 9 orders (I missed the step to link one order) show up on my account. All 9 orders are valid.
