Getting closer and closer to the price point where I'd "have to" get it. Tax is still getting in the way for me though.
By the way, this is just my opinion, but with bing cb at 5% and FW cb at 3%, that's close enough for me that I'd rather go with FW and give a little back to keep this site going! Just my plug. EDIT: Hmm... maybe it's 1% for FW. If that's the case, maybe bing makes more sense.

~$183 shipped after tax after CB for me. Not bad, but still hoping to do better. Probably should have pulled the trigger on the Amazon deal for $175 shipped after GC a few weeks back, we'll see.
according to Artik of French site Logic-sunrise.com, the Nintendo Wii 2 is allegedly set to arrive in 2010 and include Blu-ray and 1080p support.
This rumor appears to stem from an internal source of the marketing department at Nintendo France, however, little information is available to substantiate it unfortunately.
To quote from Ripten: "It could be that it wasn’t posted on the French site itself although that wouldn’t make much sense.
All in all, the rumored “leak” states that Nintendo is working on a Wii sequel with the following:
• The Wii2 system will feature a Blu-Ray drive with a secondary aim of stopping piracy. • 1080P and lower resolutions will be supported, for blu-ray movies and games. • The release date is scheduled for third quarter of 2010. • The release will be worldwide and on the same day for all countries. • A scheme will be available in which it is possible to trade in the original Wii for a cheaper price on the new Wii 2."

I went through Bing, which directed me to Dell. I paid 187.59 which included tax. I was signed into my bing account, but not my CashBack account will I still get cb? it's not showing up.

Your bing account is your CashBack account...you have to wait for Dell to report the purchase to Microsoft and then bing will send you the CashBack email...give it a few hours at least.
I was able to double dip on bing and fw cb for eBay. I did this by using bing doing the normal "psp" search was able to get on to eBay via the bing link. Then on a new window went via fw cb to eBay. The bing Cash Back showed up when I went to "buy it now".
landtony said:Isnt Nintendo coming out with a new system soon? No official announcement. A few rumors have popped up recently about the new system coming out Q3 of 2010 (about a year) but at this point even that is highly questionable. The articles that cited the Q3 release timeframe also mentioned a trade-in program. Again, none of this is substantiated and no one has mentioned a credible source. I for one am not convinced and won't make a decision either way based on those rumors.
EDIT: Woops, it looks like cedarperra already mentioned all this.

there are methods for 4.2 as well now, so there is hope if you get 4.2 out of the box or accidently upgrade it first. But yeah, don't update and make it easier on yourself if it's not.
I like how one of the main points is to stop piracy with wii2. Current wii is probably the easiest system to hack and play 'aquired' games on ever. haha. It's the only system I have right now and the only reason I have it. Graphics and all are DEF behind the other 2 consoles though. 480p is pretty darn lacking for as common as widescreen HDTV's are these days. I dont mind simpler graphics so much as the lack of resolution.
