You would if you ever show up for work. You lazy, good for nothing loafer (pun intended).

10 to 15 years ago they made a solid shoe...not anymore, but I still like their styles.

KC in general does not inflate its sizes and its products fit me much better at affordable prices. Just dropped almost $300 on a jacket, two shirts, a pant and a belt. I sometimes hate this place and I know my wallet definitely hates FW. Thanks.

BTW: do not buy their shoes this time around. The price is still a bit too high. If you can wait, I think Amazon and other place definitely offer better prices from time to time. And do not forget KC's extra 40% over clearance sale. You can get nice shoes at even below $50.

put things 2 items in my cart that were on sale yesterday, they are higher with the 40% today than the sale price yesterday.

KC deserves to go out of business: overpriced fashion that starting to go kitsch. Notice, too, that their NYC boutiques always have sales...and nobody visits...

Agreed. Their shoes are horribly made "disposable" shoes that sell at a high priced, especially their prolific use of corrected grain leather (similar to Johnson Murphy) with high selling points. They aren't "fashionable" either, their use of squared toes is horrible.

Their soles are made of cheap leather with rubber backing, not stitched usually, but glued. The leather is of exceedingly poor quality and their stitching is crap.

Their bags are utter trash, even in the "new york" line. I purchased one for ~300 2 years ago. I realized my mistake about 9 months into ownership once one buckle broke. Quickly the once well-formed bag became a lumpy pile of garbage. Why? Because stichting came lose, the "leather" inside the partitions was actually cardboard, and the inner flap was actually plastic-leather, which quickly disintigrated as the metal bar destroyed the bag (same with the inner part of the shoulder pad).

I work in NYC and use my bag on a daily basis. It isn't abused, yet wore worse than a $2 pair of underwear.

After taking it to KC at Grand Central, the snobs there ran me in circles, claiming the bag was in poor condition due to user issues. Only after protesting rather loudly and for 30 minutes, did they send the bag out to be looked at. They said the cost to repair could be $150, but said I wouldn't likely have to pay it.

6 weeks later and I've called several times, they can't find my bag.

KC is a brand name, like many others, that was bought and sold and now trades off of their brand name of bygone eras to sell high priced trash.

This isn't thread crapping, it's information for people to make informed purchasing decisions.

I actually had the opposite experience with a Kenneth Cole Reaction bag - bought at their outlet about two years ago, still looks pretty much brand-new, despite heavy usage. The outside of the bag is glazed leather and the inside lining is nylon.

If you paid $300 for it, it was probably Kenneth Cole New York rather than the cheaper Reaction line. Kinda ironic if Reaction things are made better than the New York line, but possible. I'm sorry the bag fell apart!

It wouldn't surprise me much if they tried to "juice" profitability by offering a higher "quality" bag at the same margins, as if it used higher quality material, but replaced that material with trash.

It's a pretty common practice.

It does suck about the bag, especially since it supposedly came with a lifetime warranty.
