These are Alstroemeria. Last a pretty long time. As I recall, Costco B&M stores sell a similarly large bunch for around $9.99 or so.

+ 9.99 shipping + 2.99 care and handling + $1.63 cost to ship "free" vase

while I agree it's high, it's either less or no more than any other online delivery dot com.

FTD, 800 Flowers, etc all charge at least that if not more to deliver.

But $34 delivered for this is not outrageous, try finding me a better deal on this arrangement anywhere else (and please DELIVERED FLOWERS do not mean cash and carry flowers from Costco or your supermarket)

True, but FTD flowers will last longer than 2-3 days which seems to be the average life of the low-quality flowers from ProFlowers.
Not TC, that's just always been my experience.

that depends. when you order at FTD.com, be sure it's from a local florist. In some cases they too are sending "shipments" by UPS which are pretty much the same thing as what ProFlowers sends.

If u need Saturday delivery, the's 9.99 more on top of the shipping cost. So it comes out 2 be same as FTD if you need Saturday Delivery. But other than that, this is not bad at all.

That will do. Thanks for the post. I just wonder if they also deliver arranged Scottish thistle? Heheheheh.. Anyway, do you know what Scottish thistle is? It usually has a deep root structure, painful spines on the head of the plant, large hairy leaves, and a distinctive purple rose which is quite beautiful considering the nuisance it grows from. They are pain to remove and anyone who has done so would probably give extra cash to see that they’ll never return.

I purchased these lilies a couple of years ago from Pro Flowers.
Each stalk had several blooms. I doubled the quantity, and got 200. This was a huge display and the colors were absolutely beautiful They were just starting to open and it took a couple of days for all the blooms to open completely. Very pretty, and very appreciated. They lasted quite well, I think with some pinching off dead blooms, they were on display for about 2 weeks.

I recently purchased flowers from pro flowers.
I don't really know if they arrived in good condition or not but I want to warn people about the "free shipping" notices on ProFlowers site.
The instructions say to click on a link after you order flowers to get a "free shipping" rebate.
The link for the free shipping rebate is an agreement to sign up for some kind of service and have your credit card billed every month.

That seems really deceptive to me. I didn't sigh up. I called ProFlowers and said that it seemed very deceptive.
They agreed and said they would deduct my shipping fee. My credit card came and they did not deduct it.
So I called again and they agreed to deduct it but I will have to wait about 5-7 business days to verify if they really do.
Just be cautious about claims on their site that items qualify for free shipping.
I googled "ProFlowers" and "free shipping" and found out that someone who thought he was getting a free shipping rebate was charged $49.85 on his credit card and couldn't get out of the deal later. Had to cancel that card to stop it. More complaints here.

I actually thought of notifying fat wallet and have them drop ProFlowers because of this practice.
Should I?
