Great deal for the latest entry-level Canon T1i (aka 500D) DSLR along with 18-55mm and 55-250mm lenses (both with IS) at Amazon. Add both items to the cart and the $200 coupon is applied automatically on checkout page - for me the final price was $808.62. There are other deals with printers, but that would require submitting and waiting for rebates, as well a printer you will need to sell (assuming you don't need it). This is a great instant rebate deal with no waiting time!
Also, Amazon now has holiday period return, so you can return through Jan 31 if required.
Cheers!
Edit: Price is now $793, when available. Title updated.

I don't see the discount. Seems the camera is sold by 17th Street Photo and the lens by Amazon. Is there any trick to make this deal happen? Update: Found out that you have to click on the "11 new" link to get to the camera directly sold by Amazon. Once I chose the camera and the lens from Amazon directly, the discount showed up. $808 shipped. Sweet! Thanks OP.
In order to get $200 coupon in the checkout, you have to add the one that Amazon as the seller to your cart - if you see 3rd party seller, click "## new" and select Amazon as the seller.
If you don't see $200 discount in the check out page, that mean it isn't add right.
Does anyone know where is the official page or info for the $200 discount? Update: here it is: http://www.usa.canon.com/app/emails/eosnov09/?WT.mc_id=EM0911EO01004

Been waiting for a deal like this! I got the Pro9000 printer as well which I can sell or use later. Total 1256-400 (printer rebate) - 250 (printer sale price roughly) = $606 for camera and 2 lenses. Plus no sales tax for CA...Not too shabby! Thanks OP!

I did that, but I stopped at the page where it lists your items because the next step was gift wrap then payment... I didnt want to accidentally order
Great deal, but I went with the Canon Rebel XSi 12MP Digital SLR w/ 18-55mm IS & 55-250mm IS Lenses, & Tiffen UV Filter for $643 (saw it posted on a few sites such as crazytowndeals.com )
Just placed an order with pro9000 printer.... now sell the printer, sell the lens.. send in the MIRs, also sell the old XSi, thats a lot of work.. but what the heck..
Btw, this deal cannot be combined with the printer deal (according to the PDF on link above). It can only be combined with the Loyalty Program worth $50.

749.95 + 243.76 - 200 = $793.71
not from Amazon, looks like no more of this camera or the printer available through Amazon
All of the items are available from Amazon.com. You will need to search for T1i and select the "10 new" link to see Amazon.com link. For the printer, you need to look for more buyng options to see Amazon.com listing.
And yes, the price is 749 for the camera. My order shows it.

What comes in the origial kit?
Does it have the battery, charger, cable, and CDs?
The $250 price is what you will sell the printer for (approximately). Note that you can get the printer deal OR the $200 instant coupon - not both on the same receipt!

Looks like going to route of the printer would be the better deal if your willing to take a risk on the rebate and work to offload the printer.
KingCrutch said: For those looking for a deal on the Rebel XSi, this same deal is available for $645.
Also, there is a $50 Canon Loyalty MIR available to current owners of Powershot or EOS cameras.
it says current registered owners...does that matter? I never register my stuff.

Great deal! Here is what I just checked out.
1. $749.95 : Canon EOS Rebel T1i w/ EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens 2. $243.76 : Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Lens 3. $7.50 - $7.50 = FREE :Tiffen 58mm UV Filter (I think many of you didn't add this)*** 4. -$200 : Instant rebate Total : $793.71
the following will not be applied anymore. 5. $446.95 : Canon Pixma PRO9000MkII (Cancelling order) 6. -$400 : Canon Pro9000MkII rebate (Can not combine with instant rebate)
[updated]: Not sure of the $400 printer rebate will work with the instant rebate together, can anyone confirm this? Worst case is to cancel the printer order, since my earliest delivery date is on 11/24.
[2nd update]: Call to Canon Rebate center at 1-866-668-9861 a couple of minutes ago. CONFIRMED, only one of the rebates can be used, NOT BOTH. I will cancel my printer order sad...
[3rd update]: Amazon won't let me cancel the printer while it was scheduled to ship out on 11/24 the earliest, but now it's about to deliver on 11/07.
I've been searching different forums with this $200 Instant Rebate & $400 MIR. There are many different answers from either Amazon or Canon. Somehow, everyone is confused with this situation. I just got an email to confirm the $400MIR can't be combined $200 instant rebate. However, I did not find any so call "details of the Pro9000MKII and Digital Rebel series Rebate do indicate that this rebate cannot be combined with other rebates." in the MIR rebate pdf form (I understood the $200 instant rebate does mention the Canon Loyalty Program). I will wait for my email from Amazon to confirm this again and I'll probably return the printer with the Holiday Returns Policy if no one get the $400 MIR.
Here is what I got a few minutes ago:
Dear Canon Customer,
Thank you for your inquiry. We value you as a Canon customer and appreciate the opportunity to assist you. Thank you for contacting us regarding the promotional offers for the T1i.
The two rebates cannot be combined. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The details of the Pro9000MKII and Digital Rebel series Rebate do indicate that this rebate cannot be combined with other rebates.
We hope this information is helpful to you. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance with your T1i.
Thank you for choosing Canon.
Sincerely,
xxxxx Technical Support Representative
[4th update:11/6 9:29AM PST] I just received this email from Amazon, but Canon is still giving me different answer, but at least I have Amazon to be my backup plan now
Hello ,
I've reviewed our previous e-mail with you, and I'm very sorry about the misunderstanding .
I've checked our records and see that your order did quailified for the "Get $400 back via mail-in rebate on the combined purchase of the Canon PIXMA PRO9000MkII inkjet photo printer and qualifying Canon cameras." MIR .

There is no way on God's green earth that your Canon printer rebate will be denied because of the phrase "promotion applied -$200" appearing in the payment section of your invoice. For all they know, it means you paid for part of the order with a gift card. Come on, what is this? Wuss-wallet!?
Yup I just tried to pull the trigger Give it a few lets see if they restock it. They were out of printers yesterday then they came back in stock after some hours.
